Materials for soundproofing of ceiling
The calculation of the number of building materials is made according to the area of the room itself. For the qualitative work the following construction materials should be purchased:
- soundproof tape Vibrostek-M;
- guides and ceiling profiles;
- ceiling suspension Vibroflex K-15;
- self-tapping screws LN;
- two-level connectors;
- sound-absorbing plates Shumanet;
- Vibro-acoustic sealant Vibrosil;
- gypsum-fiber boards with a thickness of 1 cm;
- sheets of plasterboard with a thickness of 1.2 cm
Step-by-step instruction
After purchasing all the necessary materials, you can start working. Performing the final stages better together: the fixing of gypsum sheets alone will be very difficult. A sound insulation of the ceiling in the apartment with their own hands according to the following instructions:
Along the perimeter of the room, approximately 10-15 cm below the joint of the ceiling and wall, a sound-insulating tape is glued in two layers.
Over the ribbon, the guide profiles fastened by the dowel-nails are screwed. The distance between the fasteners is about 1.5 m.
Ceiling mounts are fixed to the ceiling by means of anchorages. The distance between the elements of the transverse lines is 60 cm, the longitudinal position is 80-90 cm. The last suspensions should be removed from the walls by not more than 15 cm.
The longitudinal profile lines are mounted: with the help of screws on the suspensions the main elements of the frame are fixed. For each connection point "profile-suspension" 4 self-tapping screws are used.
The main profiles are attached to the cross members at a distance of 40-50 cm. The components of the frame are connected by means of two-level connectors. Dowels from the guide profiles are stretched.
Sound-absorbing plates are installed under the finished frame. Joints of separate sheets should be dense in order to avoid passage of sounds through gaps.
Installation of gypsum-fiber sheets is carried out. All pipes adjacent to the materials must be wrapped around a soundproof tape to provide reliable protection against extraneous noise. All seams and joints are processed by vibroacoustic sealant.
Installation of soundproof gipsokartonnyh sheets over an already finished surface of sheet gipsovolokna. The protruding parts of the tape are cut off around the perimeter, and the joint of the ceiling and the wall is worked out with a vibroacoustic sealant.
After the soundproofing of the ceiling in the apartment under the plasterboard is done, care should be taken to ensure that the joints are thoroughly grouted between the sheets and completely leveled. Further, any coating of the ceiling can be carried out by specialized formulations.
