To construct a kiln on self-service - an economical and very real way of heating auxiliary rooms, greenhouses, garages.
Such an oven is a real miracle, an ideal way of heating, as resources are not wasted, and useless wastes are used in the form of waste oil.
The device is quite simple, so it can be done even if not a professional.
However, before you begin to manufacture, you need to determine the type of construction, which will depend on the heated room.

sheet metal furnace technology How does the furnace work?
The furnace is designed in the same way as a pyrolysis furnace on firewood.
Combustion of the oil is carried out in the following way:
- Flammable vapors are ignited;
- At a high temperature, combustible combustible gases burn out.
Complete combustion of the oil provides a low smoke emission and high efficiency of the design.
In order to ensure complete combustion, the furnace must have the following device:
- The lower combustion chamber connected to the tank is low-temperature and must have a vent( air damper) for air circulation and oil supply to the ignition plenum;
- The middle chamber for combustion of gases is a perforated pipe whose openings are intended for air circulation;
- The upper chamber for the combustion of gas residues and the formation of smoke is connected to a chimney flushed to the chimney.
The drawing of the furnace device is presented below, and more clearly you can see the video.
It is also possible to make a drip-type furnace that saves fuel consumption.
For the device of this type of furnace in the combustion chamber, it is necessary to install an impeller that will hold the burning mixture in the lower chamber, thereby providing a drip feed of fuel.
The chimney must be at least 4 m in length and the location is strictly vertical. The upper part of the chimney must be protected by the head.
The furnace is operated as follows: the spent fuel is poured into the lower chamber, in which fuel is heated, and oil vapors entering the burner tube and ignited by oxygen are formed.
After that, the gases enter the upper chamber, in which they burn out, and the exhausted products and smoke exit through the chimney. How does the oven work, the video demonstrates.

The furnace can also be equipped with supercharging or blowing. A self-made, supercharged furnace has an increased combustion temperature, but then the furnace body quickly becomes unusable.
The inflation is provided by a car or household fan, which is installed so that the upper chamber of the furnace is blown.
The blowing of a miracle oven is carried out by means of an artificial increase in draft, a chimney with a change in position is made for this: a long tube is installed horizontally from the middle chamber and then a vertical chimney.
This increases heating efficiency at the lowest cost.
Oven manufacturing technology from
cylinder The furnace can be manufactured from a gas cylinder, as it has a suitable shape, and the thickness of the metal provides a long service life.
The standardized cylinder is suitable for heating up to 90 sq.m. And if you make some changes, you can make an oven with a water circuit.
To supply air to the furnace from the cylinder, a turbo-burner is not required, because the fuel flows by gravity. Below is a design drawing from a cylinder.
Detailed drawing will make a qualitative oven.
For work you will need:
- a gas cylinder with a volume of 50 liters made of metal with a thickness of not more than 15 mm;
- sheet material from which the fuel tank will be made;
- chimney with a wall thickness of 2-3 mm;
- metal pipes;
- steel angles.
Also required for work:
- angle grinder;
- drill;
- construction level, etc.
First you need to prepare the cylinder, eliminating the remaining gas. Then drain the accumulated condensate from the container and rinse well with water several times. Preparation of the cylinder should be carried out on the street.
The cylinder is then positioned in a vertical position and completely filled with water to avoid ignition during welding.
Now you need to make a markup to cut off the tip. The upper part must be cut with a bulgarian, wait for the water to flow out to the cut, then cut off the tip completely.
The cut off top serves as a lid for the fuel tank. Water from the tank must be completely drained.
To the bottom of the cylinder welded corners 25 cm high, protruding as legs. After this, a round hole for the chimney must be cut at a distance of 10 cm from the top.
The diameter bore must match the size of the spigot. The nozzle is inserted into the hole and connected by welding.
Next to the horizontally placed pipe, you need to weld a piece of pipe in a vertical position 4 m high. After that, the chimney can be taken out to the street.
In the lower part of the cylinder you need to make an ash-pit. To do this, cut a square hole and install the door.
After this you can proceed to the manufacture of the lower chamber, which is installed on the bottom of the cylinder.
For manufacturing a pipe 10 cm high and 14 cm in diameter is required, which is welded from below. It is necessary to make the seam hermetically sealed.
The cover is made of steel and must have two holes: one in the middle with a diameter of 11 cm, to which the pipe is welded, and the second - near the edge, with a diameter of 7 cm, to which the air damper is attached.
The damper is required to supply oil to the chamber and to regulate the air supply. In more detail the manufacture of the lower camera can be viewed on video.
Video:
Now you need a pipe, the height of which will be equal to the height of the balloon with a diameter of 11 cm. One end should be welded, and the other - welded to the fuel tank.
Now, around the whole circumference of this tube, holes of 1 cm diameter are made for air intake. The resulting design is inserted into the cylinder, and the top is welded on the lid.
This will serve as the middle chamber of the furnace. To the welded end of the pipe, a round plate of steel with a hole is welded, forming an upper chamber.
The furnace is ready for testing, its work is presented on video.

If you need water heating, then, in addition to all the works listed, you still need to weld a water tank, which should be located in the upper part of the cylinder.
And through the reservoir let the heated pipe give heat to the water that enters the heating system. The technology of manufacturing heating with a water circuit can be viewed on video.

Sheet metal production technology
The sheet metal working furnace is more popular as it is more compact, light( up to 30 kg) and has a cooking plate on which you can heat water and cook food.
You can make several types of furnaces, but they work the same way.
The work will require materials that are the same as for a cylinder furnace, and others, for example:
- metal sheets 4-6 mm thick;
- pieces of a metal pipe 4 mm thick, 35.2 cm in diameter, 6-10 cm long;
- pipe thickness of 5 mm, diameter 34.4 cm, height 50 cm;
- metal corners 3x3 cm and 80x90 cm.
First you need to prepare a design drawing. Drawing can be done on your own or find a ready, development technology can be viewed on video.
Video:
The drawing shall display all dimensions according to which the parts are manufactured. The lower combustion chamber is connected to the fuel tank and is a round tank with a lid.
There should be two openings on the cover: one for filling oil, the other for a perforated pipe, which is the middle chamber of the furnace.
The lower chamber is made of a tube with a diameter of 34.4 cm and a height of 11.5 cm. The chamber bottom is cut from a sheet of metal, the legs must be made from corners.
Now you need to make a lid of a pipe with a diameter of 35.2 cm and a height of 6 cm. One end of this pipe will be covered with a piece of metal of the same diameter to be welded.
A hole with a diameter of 10 cm is cut in the middle of the lid. A second aperture 6 cm in diameter is made near the edge.
A 1 cm diameter hole with a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 36 cm is then drilled uniformly along the entire circumference. The pipe is welded perpendicular to the cover of the lower chamber.
On the cover you need to make an air damper, which can be bolted. The diameter of the flap opening is 6 cm. The flap is required for oil filling and ignition.
Furnace from all sides can be laid with brickwork. Brick masonry provides a long-term preservation of heat. An example is presented in the photo.
The next step is the manufacture of the upper tank, which is made similar to the lower chamber.
This requires a pipe diameter of 35.2 cm and a length of 10 cm and two round metal plates of the same diameter. Closer to the edge of the plate, designed for the bottom, you need to make a hole diameter of 10 cm
Bottom to the hole you need to weld a pipe 11 cm in diameter, which is installed on a perforated camera.
Now a cover is made for the upper chamber of metal 6 mm thick. In it a hole is made for the chimney pipe from the opposite side of the opening in the bottom of the container.
A between the holes is welded an internal partition to retain heat. The chimney should be welded to the cover. A drawing of a furnace from a sheet of metal is shown below.
A homemade oven is manufactured in any way and with high quality work performance will last for many years and will be an excellent replacement for a wood-burning stove.
