The article will deal with the description of the same factors, as well as the solution of a number of problems associated with the device and the normal operation of air-water systems. The specificity of selection and installation of different types of pipes in the ventilation system of the premises of a modern building will also be described.

As already mentioned earlier, the structure of the building ventilation system implies the connection of each of the premises by air communications with their subsequent withdrawal through the roof. A classic ventilation system is a network of vertically arranged specialized pipes in the wall, which are connected by a large diameter air passage that directly contacts the street.

The average diameter of the tubing used for ventilation is 15 centimeters. The walls of modern buildings can well accommodate the airway reinforcement of this diameter.

When designing this type of pipe communications, several functional requirements should be considered:

  • Ductile reinforcement made of metal has a large coefficient of strength and durability. The disadvantages are the high cost and complexity of installing such a system.
  • Elements of the pipeline made of plastic( as a rule, this material is PVC) are cheaper and easier to operate. When installing this type of communication, ready-made elements of certain sizes are used, which are interconnected by specialized tools.
