Production of this material using extrusion technology, when the formation of individual tiles occurs by extruding portions of viscous raw materials with subsequent shearing, allows to obtain elements with a different texture .In other words, the process of formation and roasting is very similar to brick production. Unlike brick, imitating clinker tiles has more than a hundred different options. And there is a choice not only from shades, but also from a variety of roughness options. For example, you want to make your house look like an old manor, for this it is enough to give preference to a clinker that mimics the brick that has been bent from time to time. Produced and series of tiles of non-standard shape, the surface laid out by it resembles very ancient walls, for which the brick was used flat and elongated.
Clinker facing tiles are used both in hot climate conditions and in regions with high humidity. It not only low-rise buildings, but also multi-apartment buildings, not only high-rise buildings of 16 floors and higher, made of reinforced concrete slabs or sections, look rather impressive. It's hard to imagine a house built of brick, and that's why the clinker cladding of a high-rise building is especially spectacular. However, we are more interested in private buildings. In this direction, the tile is used especially widely, since it is very often necessary to finish over the insulation, which is very convenient to carry out the clinker over the reinforcing layer.
What is the benefit of clinker tiles?
Regarding the climatic features of the region in which you are going to build a house or have already begun work on its erection, the clinker perfectly withstands any conditions. Even a constant exposure to damp will not affect the characteristics of the tile in any way, since its moisture absorption is on average about 2% and does not exceed 7%. The material is characterized by high frost resistance, which in combination with water resistance gives a significant advantage over the natural stone .After all, the latter is destroyed precisely when water penetrates deep into its structure through microcracks, freezes, expands.
The clinker is capable of withstanding a mechanical pressure load within one ton per square centimeter.
Once-done clinker tiling does not need further care, the main thing is that the seams between the individual elements of the finish are carefully wiped. However, you can do without finishing with the trowel, if you use thermo panels, which consist of a heater with the tiles already laid on it. In any case, having covered the walls with clinker, you can not be afraid of occurrence of foci of infection with fungus, mold or fouling of walls with moss. The material is UV-resistant and does not fade under the sun's rays.
