The device of overlapping on ferro-concrete beams - what does it mean?
In modern construction, reinforced concrete beams are used to ensure that the structure or structure withstands high tensile loads, as well as bending moments. These products are used in the construction of foundations and ceilings. By the way of production of RC steel beams are divided into two groups: prefabricated and monolithic. The teams are manufactured in factories, while the monolithic ones are built right on the construction site.
It is advisable to make ZB beams overlap with your own hands due to the availability of the necessary building materials and the simplicity of the technology. Making the beams yourself, you can get the product of the right size, because it is not always possible to order a bolt with the required parameters. The cost of self-made beams is much lower than the factory ones.
Reinforced concrete floor beams - the characteristics of the structures
The most significant advantage of the crossbars is their strength, rigidity and reliability, because if all the technologies in the manufacture of reinforced concrete are met, it turns out to be very strong. Another advantage of this material is its durability. ZhB beams do not corrode, do not decay, which significantly prolongs their life. They are also fireproof. Such beams can be covered with rather long spans.
The weight of these products is a drawback, since it is difficult to install and transport them, and before the construction starts it will require additional calculations of the strength of the foundation. ZhB beams are not used to cover wooden or frame structures, since the load-bearing capacity of the walls of these structures is much lower than that of brick or monolithic structures.
For self-construction of crossbars, you need: a formwork material, a concrete mix, an armature, a welding machine or a special crochet hook with a binding wire. Now is the time to consider the manufacturing process.
Beams for reinforced concrete beams by our own hands - we proceed to work
Beams of reinforced concrete beams, the dimensions of which will depend on the length of the span and the loads tested, are made after the formwork. For the bottom of the formwork a board board is used, and for side walls - plywood or boards 3-5 cm thick
To facilitate the removal of the formwork, its side walls are covered with a roofing material or a polyethylene film. Formwork must be carefully reinforced from all sides, so that the concrete mixture does not squeeze it, why all the work will go wrong. After this, you can begin to manufacture the reinforcing cage.
Depending on the length of the span and the loads tested, the future reinforced concrete floor joists can be equipped with an upper and lower frame or only a lower frame. The lower frame must be laid 3 cm above the bottom of the formwork so that the concrete mix completely fills it.
The fittings must not be thinner than 10 mm, since the lower frame is subjected to tensile stress, it must be integral along the entire length of the beam. The frame is welded or knitted with wire. After that, you can concreate.
For the construction of crossbars, concrete mixture prepared according to this recipe should be used: part of cement, two parts of sand, four pieces of crushed gravel and the necessary amount of water. After laying concrete in the formwork, it must be compacted with a deep vibrator.
Pouring is done without a break, that is, the already laid concrete mix must not have time to grasp, until the entire beam is filled. It is desirable to remove the formwork not earlier than in two weeks. After the installation of self-made girder crossbars, it is possible to implement a ceiling device over reinforced concrete beams.
