There are many different bathhouse options. This is a "one-room" structure, and a bathhouse consisting of several rooms: a dressing room, a steam room, a cloakroom, a swimming pool. Everyone builds a bathhouse according to their taste and material possibilities. However, regardless of the layout of the bath, its distinctive feature is excellent thermal insulation. Any bathing procedure loses any curative, health-improving effect if the necessary temperature inside the sauna is not maintained for a long time. After all, you can just wash yourself in the house, under the shower.
Therefore the device of reliable thermal insulation of a bath is an indispensable condition. Thermal insulation can be both external and internal, and the latter is considered the most effective. That's about it and there will be a speech. As already mentioned, whatever the design was not a bath, the steam room is its indispensable component. And when the bath is insulated from the inside, the steam room should be paid attention first.
Insulated ceiling
Thermal insulation starts from the top, from the ceiling. It should be noted that when choosing a heater you need to keep in mind this nuance: the thickness of the layer of insulation material, which will be mounted on the ceiling, should be about twice as large as when stacked on walls. This is understandable, given that warm air rises. Therefore, the condensate on the ceiling will be more. Before laying the heater is done so-called crate. For this, wooden slats are used, which are attached to the ceiling.
But these events are not held separately from each other. Therefore, work on the insulation of the bathhouse is carried out in a complex manner, since both layers are laid.
After the crate has been installed, it is possible to start laying the vapor barrier layer. The list of materials is quite extensive, so everyone chooses what suits him best. Some experts recommend first gluing the ceiling with roll paper, and top with foil. Further, the thermal insulation is laid.
As such "insulator", mineral wool( and this is several different types), foam and some other materials are usually used.
To the note. Thermal insulation materials, as a rule, are available in the form of plates. Therefore, you should first buy an "insulator", and then do the crate. Why?
- the distance between the slats should be made according to the dimensions of the slabs of the material. It's clear;
- the thickness of the slats should be slightly larger than the thickness of these slabs.
Next, the lining of the construction of the timber, in most cases, the lining, how to fasten it, I already told. It is better to use such types of wood as aspen or linden, they have a low density, although you can use pine. Before installation, the wood must be well prepared( treated with impregnations).After all, there will always be high humidity in the room.
Walls
The general method of wall insulation is the same as for the ceiling. However, it should be borne in mind that the walls are different. There are log cabins, there are brick houses. Therefore, for each "type" of walls you still need to study in more detail the features of the use of certain materials. However, there will be no significant differences.
Gender
Floors are also different, and this must be taken into account. If the floors in the bath are wooden, then you can pour a fairly dense layer of bulk material( slag, expanded clay).It is accurately leveled over the entire floor area. On top of fit, of course, boards. However, the best effect from such warming can be achieved if you put mineral wool plates( mats) on top of the "backfill"( under the boards).In this case, the joints of the plates also need to be isolated. The best insulation for such floors is difficult to come up with.
In the case of concrete flooring, the technology is somewhat different. First, a concrete screed( rough) is made. The insulating material is laid on top of it. Ruberoid( tol), isospan, thick polyethylene film are used. On top of it another layer of concrete solution( finishing floor) is poured. After this, either its gland is made, or floor tiles are laid.
It is necessary to consider in more detail all the features of thermal insulation, depending on what material was used in the construction of the bath - here the options may be the same as for warming the house, as I wrote. But even these general recommendations will help to clearly understand how to make warming.
