If the back wall is 70 × 50 cm, the front wall should be slightly larger( for example, 80 × 55).The entire cell is partitioned into compartments, between which there must be a manhole for rabbits. The lid needs to be folded. This will greatly facilitate the care of the animals and the cleaning of their homes.
These are general recommendations for building cells. As already mentioned, more precise dimensions and design depend on many factors: the conditions of keeping( the house, outside the premises), the climatic conditions, the number of animals and much more. However, there are rules that need to be followed regardless of the characteristics of the rabbitry:
- cell sizes for males should be such that the animals have enough space for movement. If the rabbits are cramped, they will simply "grow old".Can reach the point that they will not have offspring;
- for 3 - 4 rabbit need to make a separate cell, and spacious. When breeding rabbits, small rabbits are kept with mothers who fatten them;
