Installation of the frame

For the frame take 4 beams 100x100 mm and trim the height of the gazebo. The front bars are left 15-20 cm longer than the rear ones to make the roof slope. After this, the supports are well treated with a primer and dried. In the lower end of each support a small hole is drilled along the diameter of the reinforcing bars, which protrude from the concrete at the corners of the base. They put the bars on the rods, set them vertically with the help of a level, and additionally strengthened with metal plates and anchor bolts.

After installation, the side supports are connected with each other by boards 50x150 mm, and then they are assembled for the rafters. At a height of 10 cm and 0.5 m from the floor, the posts are connected by horizontal bridges of a bar 50x50 mm. Between the crosspieces fix vertical bars with a step of 40 cm. The doorway is left free. All fastenings are carried out with the help of bolts and steel corners, which are screwed to the wood with self-tapping screws.

Roof installation

On the boards connecting the support beams, logs are packed in 30 cm increments. On the top the logs are lined with an edging board 30x150 mm. Between the boards leave gaps in width from 5 to 15 cm. Of course, all elements of the roof must be treated with an antiseptic primer and well dried. From the top of the board you can cover with pergamon and fix it with stapler staples. Over the film, thin slats are stuffed, so that there is an air gap between the roofing and the film. Slats are laid on the slats and fixed with nails of 120 mm with galvanized hats.

To mark the site, you need two wooden slats and a rope about 2 meters in length. After that, the lumber is primed and dried, and then stacked on poles in the form of a hexagon. Between the beams and pillars of the foundation must be laid pieces of roofing material.

When the beams of the lower strapping are fixed, lags are mounted inside the hexagon. The central lag is placed exactly along the center of the structure, aligned horizontally and fixed to the beams using metal plates and bolts. Next, mount 2 lugs perpendicular to the central, and all the others are inserted at an angle, for which the ends of the boards make small cuts on both sides. In the end, the lags are reinforced with lintels and planks.

Step 4. Construction of walls

The frame of the pergola is made of 6 beams 100x100 mm of the same length. Each beam is installed on one of the corners of the base and fixed with anchor bolts. Be sure to check the verticality of the support racks, so that the structure is not skewed. On the upper edge of the assembled strapping of thick boards, and at a height of 70-90 cm from the floor, the posts are connected by horizontal bridges from the bar, leaving the entrance free.

Walls can be made in several versions, depending on the materials available. You can close the pavilion to half the sheets of waterproof plywood, trim the boards, fix the wooden curly bars on the crosspieces between the racks. You can make two or three walls deaf, and the rest are decorated with forged elements.

Step 5. Assembling the roof

When the walls are ready, proceed to install the rafters for the roof. As a rafters take boards 50x100 mm;for convenience, the assembly is made on the ground. Since there is no central pillar in the gazebo, it is quite difficult to join the rafters neatly. Simplify this process will help cut from the beam hexagon, each side of which will correspond to the thickness of the rafters. The ends of the boards are cut at an angle and fastened with nails to the hexagon;and on the inner side of the strapping saw grooves to install rafters. After this, the design is covered with boards in a circle, leaving small gaps, lifted up and bolted. Now it remains only to lay the roofing material.
