Manufacture of polypropylene pipes.
On the technological side, the production process is fairly simple, with minimal energy costs, and is labor-intensive and environmentally safe. The production line is a continuous, technologically complete cycle.
This line consists of:
- extruder;
- vacuum water bath;
- cooling baths;
- pulling device;
- of the cutting device;
- of the output tray;
- winding.
The line is equipped with a disk( or planetary saw) and has high productivity and excellent reliability. The planetary saw has automatic digital control: it is simple and reliable. The equipment for production of polypropylene pipes meets the world quality standards.
Pipe lines are equipped with special devices in accordance with the parameters of the manufactured products. Depending on the performance and purpose, the lines can be equipped with loaders, dryers, various tool sets( corresponding to a certain size).Depending on the additional conditions, respectively, additional components are needed. For example, if you intend to produce products with a color strip, then you need a coextruder. If marking is required, a marker is used, etc.
Materials for the manufacture of polypropylene pipes are: Random copolymer polypropylene, homopolymer polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride. These materials need to be considered when choosing: for indoor or outdoor use. For example, a homopolymer of polypropylene at temperatures below zero degrees becomes brittle. Therefore, they must be used for internal pipelines. But polyvinyl chloride is suitable for outdoor sewage, since it has high characteristics at low temperatures.
Production includes the following steps:
- granulate is poured into the funnel of the extruder, then - into the storage container;
- Heaters melt granules. A large auger constantly mixes the mixture, thus achieving uniformity;
- the molten mass is sent to the extrusion block;
- in the unit injects internal pressure. Thanks to special nozzles, pipes are formed. The process takes place on the principle of a regular meat grinder;
- shaped products are transferred to the camera. Here they are calibrated with a vacuum by the diameter;
- after molding the product is cooled. To avoid defects, this is done gradually;
- marking occurs after cooling;
- further the pipes are cut to a length of six to twelve meters;
- for the tubes to be the same, they are pulled through the pulling device. To avoid stretch marks, you need to accurately calculate the pulling force.
After the production process, the finished products are packed and stacked for further implementation.
Scope of application.
The scope of polypropylene pipes is very wide. This is the construction and repair of pipelines transporting liquid and gaseous substances. Polypropylene pipes are used for transportation of gases in heating systems, in sewerage networks, in sewage systems. To all substances polypropylene is chemically stable.
Today demand for polypropylene pipes is very high and exceeds all produced volumes. Therefore, equipment for the production of polypropylene pipes will always be in demand.
