The gas column will dry

If the heater turns on but goes dead, the problem in most situations is the bimetallic temperature sensor necessary to protect the equipment from overheating. Also, due to malfunctioning of this element, the heater may not turn on at all.

This problem has two main development scenarios.

1. According to the first scenario, the burner lights up properly, the equipment functions for some time without any complaints, and then it dries and for some time does not show any signs of life - attempts to ignite the heater lead to nothing. Usually after 20-30 minutes the equipment turns on again and the history repeats itself. This is due to the excessive sensitivity of the sensor. 2. In accordance with the second scenario, the column can be switched off randomly, and sometimes not included at all. There is no water flow, the scale is not washed out from the heat exchanger, it clings until the next switching on of the equipment, as a result of which the column ceases to function normally. Usually it saves the cleaning of the heat exchanger. In neglected cases, it has to be changed.

For replacement it is better to contact professionals at once, but with cleaning you can do it yourself. Prepare a screwdriver, rubber hose, car keys and paranitic gaskets. Buy a mixture at the hardware store to remove scale. Usually it is called antikonakin. More budgetary option - washing with vinegar essence. Work in this order.

The first step. Consistently remove the hardware and cover from the heater.

The second step. Close the water at the inlet and open the hot water tap, preferably as far from the column as possible.

The third step. Unscrew the water supply pipe from the heat exchanger, and then pull it aside. After unscrewing the nut, the column heat exchanger will begin to pump water. In total it will be about 1 liter.

Fourth step. Fit a suitable diameter hose to the heat exchanger inlet and lift it slightly above the heater. Insert into the fixed hose an ordinary funnel and start slowly, with a thin stream, pour in the ready-made solution( the preparation instruction is given on the package).Do not hurry. You will pour too quickly - the anti-kipin will simply push you back, and you are unlikely to like it.

Leave the cleaning agent in the heater's heat exchanger for 2-3 hours( usually the required time is indicated on the package).

Place a suitable container under the water tap and gently renew the fluid supply to the heater. Observe what comes out of the hose. There was a lot of sludge, and then the pressure became normal?
