How do polished stainless products?
The manufacturing process of stainless steel products is similar to the manufacturing process of conventional stainless pipes. The difference between them is only in the finishing operation of surface treatment.
Two types of stainless products can be polished:
- Seamless. They are made from a round billet produced by pressing and casting. The workpiece is pulled in the rollers, and then the gauge is applied, then divided into two types: cold and hot deformation.
- Electrowelded. They are produced by three processes: welding with a tungsten electrode in a shielding gas environment, welding in an induction current medium, and welding with a laser and beam electrons. It occurs due to the formation of the product from the flat surface of the metal, its welding and calibration, and then bringing the tightness.
The most popular ones on the market are low-diameter pipes, which are very strong and have the same quality standard as for similar stainless communications. Normative documentation is used for the quality standard regulations, according to which polished stainless pipes are made.
How do polished surfaces get?
Polished stainless steel pipe is produced in two ways:
- Abrasive - is carried out at the stage of manufacturing of the stainless workpiece. The result is a cheap product. Polished with abrasive compounds, which reduce the size of abrasive particles with a special polished felt tape. In addition to the dry method, it is also used wet in which a small amount of water is added to the abrasive.
- Electrochemical means placing the pipe in a concentrated acid solution. And besides, the inner and outer surfaces are treated with electrodes from the inside or around. An electric current is then applied to the product. The irregularities on the product disappear due to the entry of the anode into the reaction with the cathode.
Properties inherent in polished stainless steel pipes
Polished stainless steel pipe can be manufactured only in production conditions on heavy duty equipment and with the use of control and measuring devices.

- Any fluid transported inside the product, not depending on it, is milk, water, alcohol or gasoline, does not react chemically with the surface, and therefore does no harm to these liquids andpeople who will use them.

The environment for the use of polished stainless steel pipes
Stainless products effectively emphasize the appearance of any design, and therefore most often they are used in decoration. Polished stainless steel pipe and other products are often applicable to the food industry due to a smooth surface that resists bacteria. And the content is not subject to chemical attack of all kinds of reactive substances.
