Preparatory work on the installation of sockets in the drywall
Gypsum boards, which are so popular with professional builders, are gradually mastered by home masters. The reasons are the same: fast installation not only of the panels themselves, but also the possibility of wiring engineering communications in the cavities. Wiring in this series is not the last place, the wires are hidden, and the installation of sockets in the plasterboard( network terminals) is relatively simple, if you follow certain rules. 
The sheathing of the walls with this material makes it possible to make almost any concealed wiring diagram of the electrical wiring, however, it should be done at the design stage. Then it will be too late to change the exits for the equipment in the drywall coating or try to dismantle the sheets( the lesson is hopeless).Therefore, in the first stage.
- We determine the locations of installation of sockets in plasterboard and lead them to the wires taking into account all technical requirements of these devices.
- We select the pads for gypsum board by two criteria. Material: preferably non-flammable or self-extinguishing plastic. Dimensions in depth( standard 45-50 mm may not be suitable if the distance to the capital wall is less) and diameter.
- We prepare the places where the fastening of the sockets in the plasterboard will be made. Perhaps several options.1. Additional priming( in fact, the impregnation of the sheet) in the places of installation of sockets and switches in gypsum board;2. Putty walls before the beginning of electrical work, i.e.the possibility of working on a fortified surface.
How to install the
drywall pad The pad for gypsum board differs from the concrete installation boxes with the holders( paws) that allow it to be pressed against the canvas on the side of the hollow space, but it is much easier in the installation process. We have already prepared the wall, the installation sites and dimensions have been determined, so you can start. A few remarks. 
- The hole in the plasterboard for installation of the outlet is easiest to make an electric drill with a special attachment - a crown of the desired diameter. The device is expensive, but in the case of a complete wiring of electrical outlets: numerous switches, lamps, sockets it makes sense to buy it in a set of 50-80 mm.
- For a small number of installation boxes, you can use a simple drill, hacksaw or a drywall knife. The result will not be so fast and accurate, but with a certain skill you can cope.
- Plates for drywall are of two types: with sliding and protracted stops. The second option is preferable, because it allows you to adjust the tension of the stops with the help of screws.
The process of installation of a porcelain for fastening the socket to the gypsum board is simple: 
- we drill a hole of the desired diameter in the sheet of gypsum cardboard( under the sprocket) with the help of a crown;
- is output outside through the wire hole of the electrical system;
- shpatluem slices and fitting places to strengthen the nest;
- remove the plugs for the output of wires from the sub-socket;
- install it in place, pulling wires;
- tighten the paws of the box with self-tapping screws to the stop( in the sliding version of the pull out to the stop of the tape and bite off unnecessary);
The socket for the electrical outlet in the drywall is ready, only the installation remains.
Connection of the output device
There is no special wisdom here, if you have ever changed such equipment in concrete boxes, then you will be able to connect the terminal block to the necessary outputs. Just in case, we give the sequence of actions:
- the socket should be disassembled by removing the plastic covers;
- screws on the klemmnoy part to loosen and insert into the terminals two( three grounded) wires;
- fix the socket in the socket for the drywall and fix it with the help of the spacers( or setscrews);
- fix the decorative cover.
