The garage is erected on a level platform or on a strip foundation. The frame of the garage is made of a metal profile, when fastening the panels to the joints, seal pads are installed. The garage design is strong enough, at the same time light, it allows to equip the garage with heating, lighting systems and tear-off automation. The price of such a garage is an average of three to five times lower than the cost of the capital structure of the blocks.

Stages of building a garage from sandwich panels

The garage can be installed on any flat surface. This can be a concreted area, or gravel dumping. If you need to perform the base yourself - you can make a basement under the garage, and then pour the floors with concrete.

After this, erect a garage frame from the metal profile that comes in the kit. Sheathing is performed from the finished sandwich panels, fixing it on the frame. The garage door can be made swinging or folding.

Foundation and floor

This step is optional - the garage of sandwich panels can be installed on any flat concrete area. If there is no such site, then the installation time of the garage is increased for the duration of the foundation. The technology of the work is as follows:

1. Make a markup of the site, remove the turf from it and level it. Along the perimeter of the installation of the belt foundation, a trench 60 cm wide and 40-50 cm deep is dug out. The bottom of the trench is covered with a twenty-centimeter layer of sand, it must be carefully tamped.
2. In the trench set formwork of boards, the width of the formwork - 40 cm, height - 20 cm above ground level. The top of the formwork is leveled or marked on it by a marker on which the foundation will be leveled. Inside the formwork put a layer of waterproofing - dense polyethylene, and then stack two rows of reinforcement on two reinforcing bars, laid along the longitudinal axis of each side of the foundation, and fastened with cross bars. At the junction points, the reinforcement is connected with a soft wire.
3. Prepare concrete from cement, sand and filler - small gravel. The ratio of the components is 1: 2: 2.For the preparation of concrete it is convenient to use a concrete mixer. It is laid cement and sand, poured water and mixed to a state of liquid smetagne, after which add rubble and mix until all the rubble is evenly distributed in the solution.
4. Fill the formwork with concrete, level the upper edge, cover with cover material and leave for maturing of concrete. After a few days, after the concrete has hardened, it is possible to remove the formwork, backfill with sand and proceed to the floor.
5. The space inside the future garage is covered with sand, which is carefully leveled. Above the sand reinforcing mesh is installed from a rod with a diameter of 8 to 12 mm, the wire is connected with each other by a wire. To reinforcement mesh was completely immersed in concrete, it is slightly raised above the level of sand. For this purpose, you can use special guides or ordinary fragments of bricks.
6. In order for the floor to be conveniently aligned, at a distance of about 1 m along the garage, beacons are placed - a bar set just above the level of the reinforcing mesh. On it, with the help of the rule, cement mortar will later be leveled. Between them, the beacons are leveled by means of a level and a long board.
7. Mix concrete with a reduced content of gravel: 1: 3: 1, pour it on the prepared surface and distribute it on the surface of the future floor, and then equalize the rule to the pre-installed beacons.

Garage frame

You can start the carcass of the garage immediately after the foundation or even a platform for its installation is prepared. If you buy a prefabricated kit, it will necessarily be provided with a detailed instruction on the sequence of assembling the garage. In general, the assembly technology includes such steps:

1. First, the garage walls are assembled separately. To do this, take a set of profiles for the side walls, or cut the profile into a size and connect it first to a rectangle that has the dimensions of the wall. After that, install additional ribs at a distance of about 50 cm from each other. To give the structure additional stability, the walls are drawn along diagonals by a metal perforated tape, previously measuring their equality. The connection of the elements is made on the screws for metal using a screwdriver. So collect both side walls. The end walls are assembled in a similar way according to the scheme, without forgetting to carefully measure the distance for the installation of the gate.

2. The ceiling covering is made of a profile of greater width, since the load on the roof with a small angle of the ramp can be significant in the winter. The profile is joined by means of screws into a rectangular construction, then additional ribs are installed that will play the role of roof roofing.

3. Assembled walls are installed on the prepared area, and then fasten them together using the connecting elements that come in the kit. Align the walls with a plumb and level.

Sheathing technology

Garment paneling with sandwich panels is done quickly enough, but it is necessary to comply with the technology and use the level when installing walls to avoid distortion.

1. Covering starts from the walls. Attach the first sandwich panel by applying it with an inner smooth metal sheet to the frame crate, fix it on the upper corner, carefully level with the plumb line, and then attach it to several self-tapping screws for metal with a hexagon head and a sealing rubber washer. Screws are fixed in the upper wave of the skin, trying not to overtighten - the rubber gasket should slightly shrink, but not deform.

2. Connect sandwich panels to each other using a lock at their edge, using sealing gaskets and a silicone sealant. For a better fit of the panels to each other during installation, special clamps are used. They fix attached sheets for the time of their installation.
