Shower in the country with their own hands

Like, sometimes, I want to refresh myself in the hot shower in the hot weather. Living in an apartment, such bliss never to experience. But the owners of the villa are more fortunate. They can build it on their backyard. To make a shower in the country with their own hands, special construction skills are required. All necessary materials can be purchased at any hardware store.

Materials

We will need the following materials:

• boards and slats;
• self-tapping screws;
• shower set( bent pipe, mixer, bracket, nozzle, adapter);
• garden hose;
• fasteners.

Drawings

Construction of the shower at the dacha will begin with its foundation, that is, from the pallet. It will be round in shape, in the form of a wooden shield. The floor must be made of solid wood. For example, such species of wood as: larch or bangkiri.

To begin with, we will make drawings of the country shower with our own hands and, according to this template, we will build it.

Building a shower tray

After determining the size of the floor, take the cardboard and put it on a flat surface. Then, starting from the dimensions, draw a circle with a circle inside of which you need to draw two squares, as shown in the photo. This will be the template by which the wooden floor will be built.

It will consist of three layers. First, you need to prepare 4 boards. Their length should correspond to the length of the sides of the square drawn inside the circle. Next, we expose boards from the outside of the square. After that, put the compass in the center of the circle and draw another circle, but, already on the boards.

Then, with an electric jigsaw, or a hand saw, we saw them on the drawn markings. In the end, we must get boards in which one side will be flat, the second semicircular.4 boards of this form form the first floor layer. The second layer is similar to the first one.

They are connected, among themselves, self-tapping screws. But, before doing this, you need to install two mounts for the support, on which the water supply pipe will be installed.

One fastening is attached to the boards of the first layer. Another on the boards of the second( upper) layer. The resulting gap between the fasteners will be supported. In the photo you can see how it's done.

For holes joining the first and second layers holes are drilled for screwing the screws. They should be with a countersunk head to completely "hide" in the body of the board. Then, according to the size of the triangles that formed after the joining of the two layers, cut out the corresponding figures from the boards and twist them. The base for the shower shower tray is ready.

Now you can install a support for the pipe and "polish" the base of the floor with racks. In the support it is necessary to make a hole through which the adapter for hose connection will be output. The anchorage, which holds the support, must be closed with a wide board.

It will serve as a protection against water, and the fastener will not rust. The rest of the floor area is covered with slats. Between them you need to leave a small gap, for drainage of water.

To make the gap equal, you can file small chips of the same thickness and insert them between the racks. The wooden pallet is made and you can proceed to the installation of the pipe.

Assembly of the

pipe Today in the shops you can buy a shower set, in which there is a curved pipe, a mixer, an adapter or a valve under the hose, bracket.

The pipe is fixed to the support by the bracket. To her, from above, the sprayer is screwed. The mixer and the adapter are connected below. Then, to the adapter, a water supply hose is fed. Summer shower for the dacha with their own hands is ready for use.
