There are several ways to build a bathing bowl. Most often it is poured from concrete, and then tiled with tiles.

Also very often there are pools of concrete blocks, which are most often used for building a container with their own hands.

Construction of concrete blocks practically does not differ from ordinary masonry, except that every third row should be reinforced with reinforcement mesh.

In recent years, foam polystyrene blocks have also been used in the construction of swimming pools.

Such units are of low mass and very easy to install.

Construction of a pool of concrete

When you have decided on the shape and location of the container on the site, as well as the filtration system, you can learn how to make a pool in the country house with your own hands.

First you need to dig a foundation pit of the desired shape. It can be done by yourself or with the help of special equipment, if it is possible to place it on the site near the house.

If the soil on the site near the house is loose, then the walls should be made with a slope to the center of the excavation so that they do not collapse.

In addition, the bottom of the excavation should also be made with a slope toward the drainage system, so that the drainage of water will continue to occur without problems.

Specialists advise making additional drainage for the pool, for which an opening is made in the middle of the pit, into which rubble is covered, then all the bottom is covered with a layer of sand 20 - 30 cm and compacted.

The next step is to fill the day with concrete, for which you should use cement not lower than M400 grade.

The mortar layer should be 5 cm, on top it should be reinforced with a wire net of 6 - 8 mm and with the cells 15 - 20 cm. The joints must be reinforced with a thin wire.

Now the layer of reinforcement is poured with one more 5-centimeter layer of concrete. In order to dry the concrete evenly, its surface from time to time should be moistened with a small amount of water.

When the concrete bottom of the bottom is finally hardened, a formwork is installed to erect the walls of the tank. It is made of boards with a thickness of 30 mm.

All places where the equipment will be installed should be provided, so that in the future it is not necessary to drill holes in the concrete.

When the formwork is ready, the concrete surface of the bottom of the pool is moistened with water and poured into a 15-centimeter layer of the solution, into which aluminum powder is also added.

Due to this, the solution will be better able to adhere to the bottom surface. In the first layer of concrete walls, insert the reinforcing mesh and continue to fill the walls of the pool.

Construction of pool of concrete blocks

The construction of a swimming pool in the garden or in the country of concrete blocks is quite common. Building a thicket of concrete blocks is not difficult even for the most experienced builder.

For such a construction, the most common blocks are used.

The device of the tank, as in the case of a concrete pool, starts from the pit, level its surface and make the bottom of the container of concrete.

Further on the perimeter of the bottom begin to lay the walls of concrete blocks. In every third row of blocks, the reinforcement is laid for strength.
