Construction of the household block with own hands

Starting to build a dacha or own house, probably everyone thought about how to make a hozblok with their own hands.

A barn is a must-have on any site, it can be used as a storage of tools, horticultural appliances, a compact technique can be stored in a household appliance, and some owners extend it with a summer kitchen, a shower or a bathroom, and a poultry house.

At present, the building for the dacha can be purchased in the form of a finished structure, assembled or disassembled, or you can build it yourself.

The place of the future barn

In order to choose the place where the hosblock will be located, first we need to understand for what purposes it will beuse, based on this, to determine its size.

You plan to equip the building for keeping poultry, small livestock, a toilet - it means that the hostel should be located at a distance of at least 12 meters from the housing and at least 4 meters from the neighbors.

If the barn is equipped for a shower, then the building and the adjacent plot will be 1 meter apart, and the distance between the household block and the house is 8 meters.

It is better, if the host block in the country house is universal, in which you can arrange a bathroom and shower along the edges, and make a room for household needs in the middle.

If your site is limited in the area, consider as an option the construction of a multi-storey farmhouse with a cellar in the basement, a summer kitchen on the second floor.

How to build a hozblok?

After identifying with the location of the shed in the country, think of what material you will build a hozblok: wood, metal, foam blocks. Perhaps it will be combined.

The construction of the utility block from profiled sheeting has been very popular lately.

Choosing this material, you get a quick installation of the structure, long-term use - sheets of corrugated sheets are light, have an anti-corrosion coating and various colors.

In the country, to build a barn, more often use a skeleton method, since it is quite simple.

As a skeleton wooden blocks are used, from which a hozblock is erected, and then they are lined with sheets of corrugated board. The wooden frame can be replaced with a frame made of metal.

The construction instruction for the barn from the corrugated board consists of the following stages:

• foundation;
• base;
• framework;
• wall and roof;
• warming and finishing.

We lay the foundation for the construction of

After determining the location and material, we can proceed directly to construction, that is, lay the foundation of the farm.

To begin with, you need to make a marking and mark the perimeter of the future building by placing the pillars( pipes) in the corners and in the center of the long walls.

Remove the soil layer approximately 20 centimeters, fill half of the pit with sand( 10 centimeters in depth), carefully compact it, forming a foundation.

We prepare places for poles. We excavate pits with a depth of 1 meter, we mix the bottom of each pit with a mixture of sand and fine gravel, creating a foundation.

We install the pipes, check the level, so that there are no distortions, we fill with the sand of emptiness. And fill it with cement.

First, we fill the hollow part of the pipes with cement by about one third and raise it slightly. Then fill the rest of the pillars with cement.

For more reliable fixation of pipes, it is possible to use the reinforcement by mounting it in the base of the corner posts and the bay with cement.

The foundation of the household block must dry, it takes approximately 2 weeks. It is necessary at this time to protect it from sunlight, and sand pad foundation periodically moisturize.

We collect wooden blocks of not less than 15 centimeters in a rectangle 6x3 meters. We fix them together with self-tapping screws, in addition using the half-tree method, which is presented in the photo.

The foundation and frame have an interlayer between each other. Usually as a building material use a roofing material, the ends of which are bent inward, so that water does not gather.

We treat everything with antiseptic for protection against moisture, mold, insects. As an antiseptic, you can use linseed oil, covering it with a surface in two layers.

The base is strengthened by three transverse lags, placing them at the same distance from each other.

Building a skeleton of a shed

To make a shed, or rather, its frame, we need a wooden beams 10 and 15 centimeters thick.

We collect the construction, starting from the ends, not forgetting the window openings, if you plan to install windows.

Screws the vertical posts to the base with self-tapping screws, connecting the beams together with steel corners.

Add for fixing the frame by 2-4 vertical bars on each side, and for stiffness between them, we install skewers.

Where there will be windows( usually on the end walls in the middle), between the middle beams we mount vertical jumpers, creating a window opening from them.

To make a doorway, we place for it in the middle of the wall individual vertical bars at a distance of 85 centimeters from each other.

The horizontal jumper is located at least 2 meters.

If the roof is sloping, respectively, the height of the vertical bars will differ between the front and rear walls, for the end walls in this case, use different heights of racks, cut at the top at an angle.

For the household block consisting of several sections, partitions are additionally installed, doorways are formed depending on the anticipated number of doors.

To make it easier for you to assemble the frame, draw a construction diagram. Drawings will greatly simplify the work on construction.

Assembly of rafters and roofing

It is recommended to assemble the rafters on the ground, and install it already on the shed in the finished form. The lining is collected depending on the roofing material, continuous or with intervals.

The rafters are fastened to self-tapping screws, and holes must be drilled in advance - this will avoid cracks. On the uneven bars in addition to the bonding points, it is necessary to make cuttings.

We lay the rafters on the frame, decorate overhangs and cornices, using edging boards.

The floor boards can be laid both before the installation of the rafters, and after. When fixing the boards to the transverse lags, do not forget to use the level so that the floor is not deformed, self-cutters are better for using the "sweat" type.

Important! For temporary fastening of the beams, use conventional nails before the final jointing of the parts with self-tapping screws.

The future barn needs to be completely treated with antiseptic and only after that it is possible to cover the roof and proceed to the carcass plating.

We make a roof, walls, we heat a shed

When forming a roof, remember that it requires obligatory flooring of waterproofing layer. If you plan to trim the roof with wooden boards, then you can safely use the traditional roofing material.

The roof can be covered with euroshire, sheets of corrugated board, metal roofing. In this case, the ruberoid can be replaced with polyethylene film.

Walls can be sewed with sheets of particle board, corrugated board, lining, sheets of particle board. They always start from the front wall from the bottom up. Warm the building with foam or glass wool.

Inside the shed are plywood, planks, corrugated sheets for interior decoration are rarely used.

Hozblok ready, it remains only to conduct electricity to it, make sockets. Set cabinets, shelves, other furniture at your discretion.
