What is a spray booth and what is it for?

Painting a car is a procedure that is in high demand today and which, in order to prevent workers from being poisoned with paints, must be carried out in accordance with a wide range of various limitations and subtleties.

So, for example, in this case, it is appropriate to use only a special room, equipped in this way, to ensure the safety of the painters.

It is clear that it is impossible to create such conditions, that is, to arrange paint drying chambers without sufficient capital investments, but safety and final quality of work are above all!

Traditionally, under the paint chamber is meant a closed room, which is made of any strong material - stainless steel, galvanized iron, etc.

In addition, it is very important that for the purposes of the safety mentioned above, this room is equipped with a ventilation system.

Which one to choose a hood - one or two-engine?

If you decide to buy a spray booth, it is worth to pay attention to this type of hood.

Here it does not hurt to clarify that the hoods for painting chambers are divided into single-engine and two-engine.

Single-motor

In this case, the injected air will penetrate into the chamber from above. Thus, the chamber will create a pressure, due to which the fog from the paint will settle down.

At the bottom of this type of camera are equipped with outlets through which this "colorful mist" will be removed.

Two-engine

The principle of operation of such cameras is similar to the principle of single-motor designs, but only here the engine will be not only up, but also below, thereby facilitating the fastest removal of fog with particles of harmful paint.

So which one to choose?

Both types of ventilation systems for spray booths have their advantages and disadvantages. Given this, the choice can be somewhat difficult.

To facilitate it, you should immediately determine the amount of work that you plan to produce in the camera, that is, take into account the overall planned car flow.

Will you paint different cars and very often? Only a camera with twin-engine ventilation will do. But for a rare painting and a single-motor analog will be enough.
