If you select this type of mechanism, you must take into account that a large load will be applied to the frame and frame.

Stages of work

To create an input structure you will need the following elements:

  • metal pins;
  • corners( section 40х40х4 on rails, 3.5х3.5х0.4 per frame);
  • channel bracket( 8x4.3x0.5);
  • spring( diameter 3 cm);
  • rod made of metal( diameter 8 mm);

First, take up the collection of the box: you need two vertical and one transverse bar, and connect them with steel plates and angles. From the bottom, the box should be buried 2 cm into the floor screed.

The resulting structure must be secured in the opening using steel pins.

Then you need to connect the elements into the frame of the fabric, after assembly it needs to be shrouded with a shield and covered with sheet iron from the outside.

Now you need a support for the mechanism - it can be made from the corner with your own hands. To do this, in one shelf you need to make a hole with which the structure will be fixed to the posts, and in the other - three holes, where the spring bracket will be inserted.

To make the adjustment plate, you will need an iron strip to connect the bracket to the spring. Pre-bend the spring turns, located at the edges and having the appearance of hooks.

At the very bottom of the design, the voltage regulator needs to be fixed - a bar is used to create it.
To make a corner for the bottom, you will need a corner in which you want to make a hole, the size of which is 8.5 mm.

Then you need to connect the corner with the frame by welding, making an indentation from the bottom of the rib to the middle of the hole - this is necessary so that you can mount the lever for the mechanism.

After installation, a plate is attached to the end of the lever, on which the voltage regulator will be fixed.
To make the gate move, you need rails - they are made from welded corners at the edges, leaving a distance of 5 cm between the top.

Then the finished rail needs to be attached to the plate so that there is a gap of 8 cm between its axis and the lower edge. On the other hand, the channel is fixed to the rail, retracting 12-15 cm.

When you start to install the gate, the main thing to look out forthat the guides are correctly positioned: strictly vertical.

The most complicated works on this end. If you want more light to enter the garage, you can insert elements of light-transmitting material into the door leaf.
