Based on the data provided by the City Administration of Kirov, for the period of August 12, the city boiler houses are prepared for the beginning of the heating season by 65%.Since the spring, extensive repairs have been carried out to troubleshoot the water and heat supply network. The maximum level of preparation for the cold season was the work of the electricity sector. Readiness for winter reached 70%.Under the leadership of the head of the city administration, Alexander Pereskokov, heat networks were tested, which were subjected to repair work.
What does the heat supply schedule depend on?
The timing of the inclusion of heating systems in Kirov depends on a number of conditions, the main of which are:
- weather conditions in the city;
- readiness of utilities and boiler houses, in particular, to the supply of heat;
- is the result of elimination of last year's breakdowns in heat, water and power networks;
- availability of funds for timely start of heating.

By law, heating can be turned off for a month for 24 hours( total for all days).At the same time, there can be no more than 16 hours of continuous heat( if in residential premises +12 and above), no more than 8 hours( if at home 10-12 degrees of heat) and no more than 4 hours( if the temperature is 8-10 degrees).
If these general rules are not met, for each hour of failure to provide services( the total amount for the entire period), the heating fee will decrease by 0.15%.
