To date, in addition to the known sawdust for a long time, they use insulators based on them, impregnated with special compositions that are resistant to fire, such materials can be used on the ground floor.
Price they have higher, but the advantage compared to conventional shavings is huge.

The building material isolon is one of the most common modern insulants. One of his unique abilities is to reflect heat back into the room, not letting go through the floor outside.
