Quite often you can hear the opinion that it is impossible to make a well at the dacha, but it is not. Let's try to prove the opposite. This material will be an instruction, with which you can do the work yourself. We use the video of drilling a well with our own hands and consider in detail each step of the process.

Removal of top layer

Depth of such well will reach 7-10 meters. For operation, a manual drill with a diameter of 160 mm is required. The first thing to prepare a place for drilling. First, it must be chosen correctly. Secondly, the fertile layer is removed in a radius of 0.5-1 m. It must be understood that the first layer will be the densest( possibly clay).

On the other hand, clay can be used as a clay lock. It tramples around the drilling site and will play the role of a waterproof element. Precipitation will not enter the well, which is guaranteed to give clean groundwater.

Continued drilling of the

well. It is not surprising if the driller will encounter different soil layers with different characteristics, such as density, color, graininess. As a result, it is easier to drill, then harder;on the average, each layer is 1-2 meters( but this parameter is not necessary, multi-layer layers are also possible).As the hole deepens, we extend the drill.

Breakdown of the aquifer

Soon there will come a time when elements with signs of moisture begin to come across. It may happen that this will be the penultimate or last waterproof, that is, there is very little water left. In some cases, it turns out that there is little water - then the well is enlarged to the well, that is, it is expanded. When water appears, 30 cm is enough to continue working. Next, you need to measure the length of the aquifer, this parameter will be selected pipe parameters.

Pipe Preparation

Suitable plastic pipe, outer diameter 140 mm, inner 125 mm;wall thickness 6.5 mm.(Do not limit yourself to these dimensions.) The connection is threaded. In some cases, to deepen the well does not make sense if we run into quicksand. It's about the sand - the well will swim and need constant cleaning. Therefore it will be easier to make a well further.

Digging a well

For digging a well, it is best to use a tractor with a bucket.(In our case - with a pile installation.) In the well, concrete rings are used, which must be purchased in advance. At a certain stage, the first ring is loaded. For descent into the well, you can use an ordinary wooden staircase. The edges of the rings are coated with cement( for adhesion) and lowered by the same tractor to the bottom.

Installing the rings

Then begins filling the space behind the rings. Concrete rings are connected by metal anchors to prevent water from soaking in the ground. You can continue drilling a well in a well shaft, this option is the most acceptable. It should look like a mirror of water. It is good to apply this method: insert a pipe of a wider diameter( sewer can be inserted) into the hole of the well, and there is already a pipe for pumping water( it was mentioned earlier).This will prevent the freezing of water during frosts. It will also need a filter for the well, which you can do with your own hands, like on video.

self-filter for the well. To create the filter, you need a long steel pipe that is perforated, holes are made, synthetic fibers are wound on top. The first layer of fiber, then the rope( kapron) is wound up, then the second layer is placed, it is also wrapped with a rope.

Well construction

Well construction is continued. The pipe is installed, a manual pump is installed, through which the dirty water is pumped. Then the electric pump is installed. An important point!- You need to pass the water for examination to find out whether it's drinking or technical.
