Outwardly this design looks natural. But this is a decorative element of landscape design. In order to decorate your yard with such a well, you do not need to dig a hole. It is enough to exert a little effort and build such a decorative well in the dacha with your own hands.
Creating the head
The head is the base of the decorative well.
To make the plates denser to each other, at the ends of each part make grooves( grooves) that will play the role of a latch. You need to prepare the following tools:
- gon( to measure the right angle);
- fine saw( for slits);
- screwdriver;
- fret saw;
- cutter;
- thin chisel.
Two-sided tape should be fixed on the blade of the saw a small plank, which will perform the function of the stop and protect against accidental deep slits. When it is fixed, you can start cutting.
Next, put the chisel in the place where the slits end and hit it with a plastic hammer. Since the blade of the chisel will cut off the fragment of the board along the line of wood fibers, the right part will break off easily.
Next, you need to remove the chamfer to make beautiful edges. To do this, you need a special milling cutter. Connecting the prepared plates with the help of the resulting lock-latch, collect a single design. It should be taken into account that for the bottom part you only need a groove on one side.
To make the top layer, also on every second board you need a slot only on one side.
To make the structure more rigid and reliable, it must be sealed by drilling an additional element to it with self-tapping screws.
To design the top part, you need to prepare the boards by cutting their side part at an angle. First make the markup, and then cut off the jigsaw, which will go along the guide groove.
Of the prepared boards make a collar for the head.
Figured columns
To beautifully arrange the columns on which the roof will hold, take a jig saw. The tool should be kept perpendicular during operation. You can use ready-made contours for making patterns.
Unevenness should be smoothed using a drill bit for grinding.
To be able to fix the roof, you need to make cutouts in the form of an incomplete corner. First make marks, and then cuts are made with a thin saw.
Next, you need to drill holes in which wooden choppers are inserted. To prevent the holes from getting too deep, a lock is put on the drill bit.
Holes were needed to reliably connect the transverse supports and decorative posts. It should be borne in mind that the support bars should go strictly parallel. To do this, when fixing, closely monitor the allowances, they should be the same.
Jumpers between posts are attached using choppers.
To the head, the posts are secured from the inside with bolts.
Building the roof of a decorative well
To complete the work, you need to build a roof.
First you need to make rafters, prepare all the details, and then already do the assembly. The exact angles for connecting the parts are contained in the drawings.

Make a support for the connection rafters. This requires glue and screws.
To connect the rafters and the support, you need glue and bolts. The rafters are fixed in pairs. For accuracy, you need to fix the parts with a tightening strap.
Two more pairs of rafters with bolts from below are attached to the resulting part.
It is recommended to use a grinding machine to make linings for rafters.
The cover plates are attached to the rafters on both sides with glue.

On the roof slats, note the angle and cut the fragment with a jig saw.
Roof rails should be sanded.
The first row of roofing slats is first drilled, then bolted to the rafters.
2nd row should be fixed so that the bolts holding the 1st row are hidden.
The dolly can be produced on a lathe.
This will look like the roof of a decorative well.
Decorative bucket
First cut out the crankshaft and the handle to lift the water.
To connect the parts used chopik diameter of 8.5 mm.

Inserting in the resulting deepening plank, it is treated with a plane, until the blade touches the side walls.
The resulting blanks are joined and folded face up. The connection is fixed with an adhesive tape.
Next, using glue and a system of V-shaped grooves and spikes, connect the parts and tighten straps for fixation.
The resulting cylinder is placed on a piece of plywood and traced along the inner contour. Get the bottom. It is cut out with a jig saw.
The bottom needs to be drilled. These holes are needed for drainage. Also at the sides in the lower part, holes are made at the joints of the boards and choppers are inserted.
On the outside, the bucket is reinforced with a tin strip.
Instead of a handle, you can use a fragment of a twisted rope. It is taken for styling under the rope.
