Grounding - As a sound engineer (by all accounts) you know that audio equipment must be grounded, however, this is an impossible condition, because, as usual, at best, you will simply be "thrown extension".
Since it will not be possible to take care of grounding and you need to be content with what you have, you need to get good mains filters in which varistors and electromagnetic filters will be installed.
If you approach the question differently, then you can generally assemble a shield from which you will power the devices, and the exit from make the shield with a fork (or assemble several lines, depending on the power), then all the equipment will be more or less protected. You can also power everything from voltage stabilizers, or double conversion uninterruptible power supplies to completely decouple from the network. The only question is the price.

At first, we thought that the device was out of order due to power surges, which we often have. However, replacing the fuse did not change the situation. Then, after a short analysis with the participation of local sound specialists and me, we came to the conclusion that the device could have burned out from the fact that he and the mixing console are connected to sockets on different phases, which in turn are powered from different shields. That is, due to the fact that the devices in fact had different grounding buses, a difference could arise potentials and create a generating current in the signal cable connecting the broken device and the mixer remote controller.
I just want to find out if it is true that devices that are interconnected by signal cables need to be connected to sockets on the same phase and why?
