So it was said that almost all who decide to install a toilet bowl with a lower water supply are people tired of long-term observation of rusted water pipes and sewerage, and quite frequent meetings with plumbers( most of which are very often drunkform), repairing the ancient( most often early Soviet production) toilet, and very naively believing that installing a new toilet can help get rid of all these problems. However, the calm does not last long.

Already after several years, and sometimes almost immediately after installation, the system begins to show off, somewhere the water begins to leak, or does not get into the tank at all. And now, when there is absolutely no desire to once again go to the plumbing service, the thought that it would be nice to try to figure out the toilet device yourself. And in fact the truth, in the arrangement of the drain toilet bowl absolutely nothing is complicated, although the models of the toilet bowls, as well as the tanks to them, are huge. Despite this, almost all of them consist of the same set of parts.

Absolutely any toilet bowl is a container with water, which is covered with a lid. In order to remove this cover for the purpose of looking into the tank, it is first necessary to unscrew the button responsible for draining the water. These buttons, as a rule, turn away with their hands quite simply, without the use of tools. It happens, of course, that the button does not turn away. This may mean that the button is attached to the cord and the cover in this case can be removed neatly without unscrewing the button.

During the operation of the toilet bowl, it often happens that the water intake does not stop. The main reason for this may be a skew of the float arm. To eliminate this trouble, it is usually enough to set it to a horizontal position of a centimeter three times lower than the inlet.

Another cause of reservoir leakage may be the depressurization of the float as a result of its damage. If the test showed this reason, the float should be changed. Temporarily, it is possible to restore the integrity of the float by means of a sealing compound, removing the water that has previously got there.

If the tank is constantly flowing and the water is constantly pouring into the toilet, the reason for this, most often, may be the defective membrane, which is included in the siphon tank. To remove the old one and install a new membrane, it is necessary to discharge all the water from the tank( by cutting off its supply), by attaching a float lever to the crossbar installed in place of the cover with a wire. After this, it is necessary to unscrew the nut that connects the tank to the flushing pipe. Then the siphon is disconnected and pulled out. After this, you can change the membrane and assemble( in reverse order) the entire reinforcement.

It happens that there is too little water in the tank, or a lot. This fault is eliminated by adjusting the float. To do this, remove the lid of the tank, move the float limiter so that the float stops higher or lower. Thus it is necessary to achieve the normal level of water supplied to the tank.

If troubleshooting, it was necessary to disconnect parts of a tank, then before assembling it is necessary to lubricate threads of connections with silicone grease. After this, it is necessary to test the assembled structure: supply water and make sure of the normal operation of the entire device.
