If you do not really care about the dimensions and weight of the finished product, you can make a two-seater rocking chair from scratch. The drawing of the side parts of such a structure can easily be found in the public domain and copied onto paper, so that the contour can be transferred to the material used without serious errors. It is very important to do everything right at the very beginning, so that both sides are identical, and the lower part is perfectly rounded. A suitable material for our product will be eurofanera 30 mm thick. From it, saw the frame connecting the two sides. The length of the frames will depend on the desired width of your product, and you will take care of the strength with the correct thickness of the sidewall connecting element. The surface of the seat and backrest will consist of long and thin bars, fitted to each other either closely, or at a small distance, at your discretion. There is no special standard for assembling such a product, so each master can develop his own algorithm. The frames between the sidewalls will be located in the headboard, in the middle part and in the legs, and to connect them best with the help of long conformables. It should be noted that this is the case when it is better to measure several times, and then just drill the necessary holes.
Since the product consists of a large number of long and thin frames, when attaching them to the base, you can apply a small trick that significantly simplifies the task. This is a "conductor".Such a device will help to accurately drill the bars at the right distance without much trouble. You can make it immediately on the spot from the remaining materials. We attach pieces of plywood from the end and sides of a small beam, which serve as a stop, and drill the "conductor" in the right place. Now, through the resulting holes, we plan the workpieces. The layout will be perfectly even and symmetrical. Next is the matter of technology and your diligence, you need to drill holes in the planned bars and connect them to the base of the screws. For the beauty and completeness of the product holes from the screws need to be puttied. The final stage of the work will be the coating of your product with varnish or paint.
