Not so long ago, the market appeared self-adhesive vinyl laminate, which rightfully became one of the leaders in the field of floor coverings.
Vinyl laminate differs unpretentiousness, excellent appearance and absolute harmlessness to health and ecological purity. Advantages of vinyl laminate are as follows:
- Long operating period;
- Practical;
- Resistance to water;
- Strength;
- Absolute security.
Modern industry produces many varieties of vinyl-based laminate. Some mimic a tree, some are marble or another natural stone. It is allowed to combine the material with other floor coverings.
The upper part of the laminate is always made as thick and strong as possible, so that it becomes resistant to both shock loads and point forces( the pressure of women's shoe pins).Laminate with a self-adhesive base can be used even in rooms that are characterized by considerable air humidity, whether it is saunas, showers or bathrooms. Laying the self-adhesive laminate is not difficult and is performed according to the following instructions:
- The plates are taken out of the package and left alone for a while, which will allow them to fully straighten;
- The first tiles are always placed in the corner of the room with an indentation from the wall of 6 millimeters. The wall must have the side of the material with which the adhesive tape has been cut off. The opposite side is sent to the next row;
- The new series should start with tiles, the length of which is one third smaller than usual;
- The subsequent rows are always overlapped;
- After the laying is completed, it is necessary to press the tape tightly with a special roller. If the work is conducted in a room in which there is no heating, then the adhesive tape should be heated with a powerful construction hair dryer.
