Move a person to a safe place

If there is no visible damage and the victim is conscious, it is necessary to provide him with peace, give 20-25 drops of valerian and, if possible, give them a warm tea. Calling an ambulance is required in any case, becausesometimes the consequences do not immediately follow and can affect health over time. If a person has lost consciousness after an electric shock, things are much worse. First, check your breathing and pulse, then the pupils( if narrow, then the state is uncritical).For everything about everything you have 15-20 seconds, each of which is very important.

Treat Wounds
Electric shocks can result in various types of damage: wounds, burns, charring of body parts. While doctors will go to the place of events, you can use the first aid kit and implement the following measures to provide first aid:
- treat the wound with iodine, a solution of potassium permanganate or alcohol;
- apply a dressing moistened with furatsilin solution( 0.01%) to the damaged area;
- give the patient painkiller( for example, aspirin).
Other measures of treatment: injections and rubbing should not be done, if you do not have special skills, becausewrong self-treatment can only hurt and aggravate the situation.

Individual protection
