For good work, the Bulgarian needs a lubricant that will not flow out under heavy loads and long work, but will reliably lubricate the part over its entire surface during the entire operation time. It must also be environmentally friendly. Pay attention to the well-known and already proven manufacturers of lubricants, such as Lubcon , Hammer , Makita , Hitachi .Experts advise if possible to choose the lubricant of the same company as your tool.
Tip! Experts do not recommend the use of materials such as solidol and lithol.
When deciding how to lubricate a Bulgarian, pay special attention to materials based on silicone or silicone oil. Such lubricants are great for tools that work in the speed range from slow to large and at all loads. They are highly resistant to oxidation, protect against corrosion, easily combined with plastic and elastomers. The composition is exclusively silicone and lithium thickener, which makes them safe from the environmental point of view. Consistency is maintained at temperatures from -50 to +190 degrees Celsius.
Grease for the Bulgarian and its precise marking
One of the most important elements of the Bulgarian is the reducer. When the tool is working, it becomes very hot, because it is behind it that the pinion rotates, which leads to strong heating. It is for these reasons that the gearbox casing is made of metal, because it quickly removes heat. But one casing is not enough to cope with high temperatures, an important role is played by its proper lubrication.
Each specialist on the question, what to lubricate the reducer of the Bulgarian, will answer that it is best to use a special grease for the ears. It is specifically designed to work and the conditions in which this tool is applied. Such a lubricant has a specific blue color. A good, high-quality grease for the Bulgarian reducer has the following marking: MoS2 NLGI 2 ISOL-XBCHB 2 DIN 51825-KPF 2 K-20.Marking means:
- MoS2 - as the additive acts molybdenum disulphide;
- NLGI 2 - second viscosity class;
- ISOL-XBCHB 2 - compliance with ISO standards;
- DIN 51825-KPF 2 K-20 is the most important item, it means that the grease complies with German DIN standards.
- 51825 indicates that the material corresponds to a lubricant of the K type.
The price for this mixture is very high, but there is a cheaper cheaper with similar qualities: KPF 2 K-20, where:
- K is for sliding bearings;
- P - with anti-seize additives;
- F - with solid filler;
- 2 - the consistency corresponds to NLGI;
- К - maximum working temperature +120 degrees Celsius;
- 20 - minimum operating temperature.
Note! The use of special greases for USM will give the maximum guarantee of reliable operation.
About tools on the
warranty Special attention should be paid to lubrication of Bulgarians who are under warranty. It is not advisable to do this on your own, you should entrust this work to a specialized workshop. There will be used high-quality and original materials with the correct dosage. At home, it is possible to apply the mixture incorrectly, which will negatively affect the longevity of the tool.
Tip! In specialized services it is recommended to take not only Bulgarians for guarantees, but also those who have already passed the warranty period.
Different lithols and solid oils for greasing gears and bearings are strictly prohibited. In addition, the opening of the case on warranty tools will be the reason for refusal of maintenance, and the use of "unauthorized" lubrication in general is a gross violation of the rules of exploitation of the Bulgarian. Exceptions can only be external nodes, which, according to the instructions, must be regularly processed.
