Pouring of a platform with concrete - we study technology of effective work

Technical details of concrete pouring

Concrete is poured both into the formwork and directly into the ground. If the pouring occurs without the use of formwork, that is, directly into the soil, then the soil itself or the walls of the building play the role of formwork. If the solution is poured into the formwork, then it needs to be approached very thoroughly, because liquid concrete is a very fluid and heavy mixture.

Before each owner of a suburban or private house, the question arises of arranging a private yard. To prolong the life of pavers or paving slabs, it is necessary to prepare a quality foundation. For this purpose, concrete is poured into the yard.

This procedure performs not only a decorative function, a blind area flooded around the house, prevents the destruction of the foundation and the general drawdown of the building. The concrete is poured by hand or with a special mixer.

When pouring from a mixer, a special tub and a crane may be required. But this technology is used for large volumes or industrial construction. Pouring concrete with their own hands is made by buckets and shovels. Recently, solid plastic buckets have appeared on the market, which are ideal for this.

The essence of installing beacons when laying concrete

The technology of laying concrete is quite simple, but before you fill anything, you need to perform a number of preparatory works. The first step is to plan and mark out everything. Next, it will be necessary to level the ground for future pouring, if the relief of the concretered area is not sufficiently level. You need to decide on the thickness of the fill: the best option is not thicker than 10 cm.

If you follow the rules for pouring concrete, you first need to set the beacons to make the surface smooth. The twisted fill strikes the eye and does not look aesthetically pleasing. On the edges of the flooded area, metal or wooden pegs are jammed directly into the ground, threads from one to the other are tightened. Beacons will be installed under them.

As lighthouses, you can use flat metal rods, reinforcement and even a profile for gypsum board. They are installed on cement mortar, previously stretched threads should only touch them lightly. Beacons are left for 24 hours until the solution dries completely.

Fill concrete correctly - practical advice

Before properly pouring concrete, you need to know how to mix it. The composition of the solution includes cement, crushed stone, sand, water. On the water poured into the concrete mixer, one part of the cement, three parts of sand and one part of the rubble are thrown. After the composition is ready, unload it into the tub or immediately on the primed soil.

The technology of pouring concrete will require an even distribution of the solution by a shovel between beacons. The layer should be slightly higher than the lighthouses. After this, you need to take a rule or a flat rake and move it to your left and right.

It is necessary to "cut off" all excess concrete. If there are depressions somewhere, they must immediately be filled with the right amount of mortar with the help of a construction trowel. So, the required area is successively filled.

After the flooded area can be walked, it usually takes place the next day, it will be necessary to remove various hillocks and rips with the help of a wooden float or sand-lime bricks. If something remains incomprehensible, we recommend that you look at the video offered, it will not be difficult to fill the concrete with your own forces after viewing.
