Poromax: properties of the material and its application

Special system accelerates the construction of

Material Poromax is a ceramic large-format hollow-porous stone with enhanced thermal insulation properties. Its main purpose is to build internal, external and bearing walls of multi-storey, low-rise and public buildings. It is also actively used as a filler for monolithic frame structures. It has a light weight due to its porosity, and at the same time has excellent heat and noise insulation.

The material is developed and produced by technology, which does not require making vertical mortar seams, because the blocks are joined together by special grooves. Such a system simplifies and speeds up the construction process many times, and also reduces the costs of mortar and cold bridges. The groove-to-crest joint and large brick dimensions allow the wall to be built quickly, like a designer.

Note! The groove is an excellent system of joining bricks, which makes it more reliable and durable.

Quality that made it popular

Brick poromax helps to increase the thermal protection of the building, makes it significantly stronger, reduces the load on the foundation, keeps a comfortable microclimate in the room. Important is the fact that this material is absolutely environmentally friendly and does not pose any danger to the health of residents. Such characteristics were obtained by the addition of rice husks in the process of manufacturing. Brick powder has the following advantages:

  • Large sizes in combination with the groove-groove joint three times increase the speed of installation, five times less required solution;
  • High strength and frost resistance of F 50;
  • Low weight and density due to porous structure - minimizes the shrinkage of the foundation of the house;
  • Perfectly retains heat, four times better than ordinary bricks;
  • Excellent sound insulation properties;
  • High vapor permeability prevents moisture from accumulating in the wall;
  • Durability;
  • Ecological cleanliness.

For all these parameters, these blocks have better characteristics than any other bricks. For example, vapor tightness. The material has a capillary structure, which allows the building to "breathe".The walls of this material are a natural conditioner, that is, with increased moisture, it absorbs it, and, on the contrary, gives it back. As a result, the probability of mold and fungus formation is practically zero.

Important! Education on the walls of mold and fungus is dangerous for human health, so the property of the material "breathe" is very valuable and necessary.

Dimensions and characteristics

The blocks are produced in various sizes, which makes it possible to choose the best option for specific purposes. The most common and functional is the poromax 250, which is widely used for the construction of external and internal walls, and, due to its strength, for the erection of bearing walls. Its width is 250 millimeters, which corresponds to brickwork in one brick. Its varieties, 250-D and 250-1 / 2, are necessary for laying corners, openings for windows and doors, for walls made of Poromax 250.

Note! In addition to the size of 250, there are 120, 200 and 380 millimeters.

Brick poremax 250, the dimensions of which range from 330 to 510 millimeters in length, have the following technical properties: compressive strength is of the order of 125-150 kg / m2;low weight and density;The surface is flat, which makes it ideal for subsequent plastering works;long service life. All of the above advantages make this material ideal for the construction of any type of house, while it saves energy, time and money.
