Internal sewerage of a private house
This moment is the easiest of all the work on the organization of sewerage communications that you have to spend. The inner part of the work is to connect all plumbing in the house to the sewage pipes. By the way, the same is required by the installation of a city sewage system, since such cases are often that the newly built apartment building is not equipped with all the elements of sanitary equipment, or they simply need to be replaced.
Warning! In order to connect a sink, bathtub or shower cubicle, you will need plastic pipes with a diameter of 50 mm. Regarding the toilet, it uses a pipe diameter of 110 mm for it.
It is also important to know what a manifold pipe is. It is used to collect drains coming from all plumbing equipment. Its diameter should be 110-200 millimeters, and it is also made of plastic. Among other things, take care of the slope of the collecting pipe. It should be 1-5 cm in relation to the foundation of the house. The same applies to the sewage pipeline outside the building.
Features of the external sewage system
Before you understand how the sewer system is arranged from the outside, you need to know what is included in it. This part of the communication can include all the pipes that run outside the building, as well as all sewage treatment plants of the autonomous sewer system at home.
At the heart of the whole system is the principle of gravity of drains. Simply put, all the cleaning elements must be below the pipeline systems, which will allow the water to enter the treatment facilities independently.
Tip! If you use pumps that allow waste water to enter the cleaning elements under pressure, then the slope of the water supply system is not so important!
In order to prevent frequent blockages of the entire system, it is necessary to fulfill a couple of conditions for this:
- The cleaning elements should be located from a residential building at a distance of not less than 5 meters.
- Throughout the piping system, bends should not be equal to or less than 90 degrees.
The use of sewage treatment plants for the autonomous sewage system
The sewerage system provides for the mandatory inclusion of local purification elements throughout the system. As a rule, there are two such systems in the system:
- Septic .In this tank, waste water is settled.
- Filter. After the sewage has settled in the septic tank, and the entire sediment remains at the bottom of the tank, they flow into the filter, where further purification takes place.
Note! In the filter elements, the wastewater can be purified by a biological or chemical method.
All treated effluents subsequently enter either groundwater or a local body of water of natural origin.
In the event that it is a question of seasonal habitation, for example, a summer residence, it is possible to reduce considerably expenses on the organization of the water drain. You can do in this case, solely by mechanical cleaning of drains or to do even easier - to buy a bio-toilet.
Whichever type of sewerage yours is concerned with, it is important that it is at the maximum distance from the drinking water intake to prevent wastewater from entering it!
