Water supply and sewerage in the house - features of coexistence

The world does not stand still, and if before the domestic sewerage was accompanied by a lot of ugly pipes, today everything is much more aesthetic. You can buy pipes of different diameters and forget about the welds. Plastic has a huge number of advantages, and so-called metal-plastic generally exceeds the conventional steel pipes by several times.

Sewerage in a wooden house has its own characteristics, which you should know. Beauty and so on we leave in the background, and at first comes functionality. Depending on the fact that we will float along it, choose the diameter of the pipe we need, but do not forget about the slope, because the water should flow.

Sewage in-house requires specific training and tools. You will need a jig saw, a drill, a puncher, a hammer, screws, a screwdriver, that's all. As for the works themselves, the first thing to do is to outline the sewerage plan on paper, and then calculate the required quantity of consumables with a margin of 10 percent.

Domestic sewerage - practical calculation

Sewage from one or two washbasins should pass a pipe with a diameter of 15-20 mm. This is enough for a very serious flow and small clogs. As for the bathroom and toilet, and these two things are combined into one tube, then there will ideally be 40-50 millimeters in diameter. Nothing stuck, that's for sure.

The drainage from the house is best done with a pipe with a diameter of exactly 50 mm, and the one that goes behind the house, and therefore under the ground, should be 70, and even better 100 mm.

Also do not forget that the local sewerage system for the house throughout its entire length should have a small angle of inclination, otherwise it will either require the installation of a sewage pump, or - the work is a nuisance.

Sewer - begin installation

We proceed directly to the installation of the system. Following the drawing, we attach the so-called knees to each crane, to which we fix the main pipe, and with the help of a level under a slight slope, naturally downward, we show the sewage system. It is best to do this during the construction process, before laying the floor.

This will provide the greatest attraction, as all pipes will not be visible. Yes, and the sewage outlet from the house will be located exactly at ground level, which will help to calculate the slope of the main pipe.

So, you installed a "knee" on each tap, now attach the selected pipe to it. We make the sewerage in the house for ourselves, so take your time, and every 50-80 cm attach to the wall or any place fasteners on which the pipe itself lies. Best of all, in one place to create the connection of all the pipes into one, the head one. Do this you need not far from the outlet of the sewer.

The slope of one meter should be at least 1 cm, ideally 1.5 cm. This will create an optimally fast drain without the use of deposits and other expensive equipment.

We finish the work of

By assembling all the pipes in one with adapters and tees, we make the sewage release from the house. To do this, through a previously prepared hole let out our main pipe, which will go underground. By this time, the pit outside should already be ready and have the same slope, and preferably 1 cm more than in the house.

On the outside, the pipe would be well insulated with glass wool, and remember, it must pass at least 1 meter from the surface. The fact is that under frost the earth is compressed and can crush our pipe, but at such depth and with the insulation it is not threatened. This is important, because from the very exit from the house this meter of depth must be observed. Cut into the main sump well or into the barrel, which you prepared in advance.

Everything is ready, now you know how to get the sewer out of the house, and how to build it. Believe me, it's better to do it yourself, the masters take a lot of money for this, and if you have an extensive network of pipes, it all pours out into a whole state, which is sometimes more expensive than the materials themselves. So it was led, the water supply and sewerage in the house is not a luxury for a long time, but in the absence of both, life does not seem to be honey.
