What are plastic sewer rings?

What are the rings and manholes for

  • wells? Rings with propylene sections are very ductile, easily welded together. They can be installed on both dense and loose soils. They also easily tolerate a large pressure of the water massif.
  • Rings with polyethylene sections can remain unchanged with repeated defrosting and freezing of water, that is why they are ideal for the Russian climate.

  • Rings with pvc-sections, which are characterized by sufficient resistance to chemical reagents. They are expensive and often used in automotive repair and factory production because of the use of a large number of chemical compounds.

You can see a review of available rings for sewers and wells on the video in the next tab.

Advantages of plastic rings

  • They are easy to use and have a long service life in wet ground and in a medium with running water. It is worth noting that this advantage is not all, but only high-quality expensive models, and yet among the familiar concrete rings this property is not possessed by any. Therefore, if your house or dacha is located on a site with close groundwater, it is worth paying for the safety and environmental friendliness of plastic sewerage.
  • Another advantage of plastic is its small weight and special devices for mounting components( nipples).
  • The installation of concrete, iron, brick and other rings is performed with the help of various additional devices and tools( a drill, a drill, a sealant, etc.), and for the installation of plastic, it is only necessary to secure the nipples and plugs, which will reduce labor and time costs.
  • For operation it is enough to turn the branch pipes and plugs in the desired direction and to bring the sewer pipes.

How to install plastic rings

  1. Place the rings on the dug hole, secure with the nozzles. The bottom does not need to be poured with a foundation, but you can make a small "pillow" of 30 cm from sand and gravel.
  2. For a well over two meters deep, it is better to use a corrugated pipe that can be adjusted in length. Then the joints between the divisions can be sealed with a sealant or a welding machine for plastic.
  3. Internal joints should be treated with a sealant.

In conclusion, it should be said that the future of sewer systems and water supply systems behind plastic products, which year after year do not lose their operational properties.
