The gas meter can not be out of place for more than 3 months in a row. If such a situation happened and the meter was not installed after three months, the volumes are calculated according to the norms per person. 
What after checking the gas meter?
After verification of the meter, there may be two variants of the development of events:
- The device successfully "passed exams" for proficiency, which is confirmed by the stamp and signature in the certificate of verification.
- Defects are detected, i.e.the meter can not be operated. The owner of the device is issued a notice of unfitness.
After the suitability of the gas meter has been officially confirmed and the permit for further operation has been obtained, the meter must be reinstalled. Both specialized companies that have permission for gas services can do both dismantling and erection.
After installing the counter in place, it must be sealed. This procedure is performed by a specialist in the gas sector with the preparation of the seal in two copies - one remains with the subscriber, the other is kept by the supplier. From the moment of sealing, calculations for gas are conducted according to the transmitted indications.
