Bathtub combined with toilet: where and what to put
Have you seen a combined toilet with a bathroom in the photo in the magazine and caught on with the idea? It's wonderful, but first of all you should think about whether you have the opportunity to "stuff" the room with all the beauty that you are flattered in gloss. The absence of a capital partition in the bathroom does not make it dimensionless and does not make it into a warehouse. Designers recommend starting from a minimum:
- toilet;
- bath or shower;
- sink.
Next it is worth considering two options: "the room is small" and "the room is big."
Small combined bathroom
A small bathroom, even combined, requires a particularly careful approach to its design. Remember that for all hygiene procedures you need a place. Brushing your teeth by standing with one foot in the bath is not an option. And then angles come to your aid. Choose the corner plumbing, which is available in a wide range of shops. This baths, and toilets, and sinks, not to mention the more modern plumbing. This will free the center of the room, which will greatly facilitate the movement on it.
Advice: if you can not do without a washing machine, but there is no space left, replace the bath with a shower. This solution will save space for an additional piece of furniture.
As for the storage of all kinds of cosmetic, household products, buckets, brushes, etc., then look under the tub and the sink. On sale for a long time already there are special curbstones with shelves, which occupy this space, making it functional. You can fix the shelves in the same corners. If they are made of transparent glass, like the shower door, this will visually make the room more spacious.
Spacious bathroom
Spacious bathroom, combined with a toilet, gives much more opportunities for interior design. This is clearly demonstrated and the photo below, where the shower is not the only place for swimming.
A nice addition will be a bidet. By the way, this is a plumbing product, which first of all should appear in the bathroom, if after placing the minimum set there is room. It gives an opportunity for good hygiene after visiting the toilet, if the shower or bath is occupied. For this reason, the bidet is located next to the toilet.
The free space allows you to place in a comfortable wardrobe for storing not only cosmetic and household products, but also towels, various trifles or even decor.
Zoning of a combined toilet with a bath
No less important than the arrangement of interior objects, is the allocation of functional areas. Even a small bathroom, combined with a toilet, requires at least a visual separation. You can do this with partitions or a color solution. Of course, for small rooms, stationary partitions are rarely used, but lightweight mobile screens of plastic or frosted glass can come in handy.
In spacious rooms, the separation structure can be made of plasterboard, which allows it to be bizarre and complemented with shelves. It is usually made of the same material used for the main walls.
As for the visual separation, then designers are advised to play with different colors of finishing material. Most often it is a ceramic tile or paint.
You will be played on your hand and the wall protrusions available in the bathroom. They perfectly serve the idea of zoning the premises.
The combined bathroom is a blank canvas. Choose the right colors, and the interior of the toilet with the bathroom will be transformed beyond recognition, without losing in convenience and functionality.
