Design bedroom
Narrow and long room is well suited for fitting a bedroom in it. Design is preferably done in soft pastel shades. You should use the following colors:
- beige;
- peach;
- milk;
- gray;
- herbal;
- blue;
- coral.
Place the bed across the room under the window - it can stand from wall to wall. A free narrow wall at the entrance can be used for a wide sliding-door wardrobe from floor to ceiling. If the cabinet does not fit near the door, and along the room takes up too much space, order the built-in corner models, in which the width and depth of the sections can be different.
If you have a niche, it can fit a whole wardrobe! Hang shelves and clothes hangers directly on the walls, put a high mirror, which will significantly increase the space. The wardrobe can be covered with a light sliding door or a fabric curtain.
We use the balcony
Obviously, the loggia will not expand the room, however, the competent design of a narrow room with a balcony will allow to allocate one more functional area. When planning repairs in your apartment, remember that in almost all houses the partition between the balcony and the room is not a carrier and it can be disassembled completely or partially. The glazed and insulated balcony can perfectly fit:
- cabinet;
- mini dining room;
- soft corner;
- bed;
- wardrobe;
- cabinet;
- refrigerator.
Be sure to use the space on the balcony to design the interior of the narrow rooms in your house, for example, as in the photo.
We plan a bathroom
A narrow bathroom will become comfortable if you put a bath across to the far wall. If your room is very long, you can put even a whirlpool in length up to 160-180 cm. On the other hand, along a blind wall it is convenient to place a washing machine, and above it hang capacious wardrobes for linen and household chemicals.
If you need to save space in a long narrow bathroom, equip the shower. Pay attention to modern models without pallets - they only require draining in the floor and light door, and occupy only one square meter, as in the photo.
