  1. Dismantling of old finishings. Carefully dismantle the wallpaper, all the decorative elements and skirting on the wall. That is why sound insulation must be performed at the beginning of the general repair of the apartment, and not at the end. This will help you save money and time;
  2. Preparing the wall. At this stage, you need to inspect the surface of the wall, align it and carefully repair all cracks and potholes;
  3. We create a metal crate. To do this, take the profile PN-2 and attach it to the floor, along the edges to the wall and to the ceiling. At the same time, we must not forget that under the profile it is necessary to fasten the soundproof tape. The PS-2 profile is mounted in the guides at a distance of approximately 60 cm;
  4. We carefully fill the crate with soundproofing material. At the same time, we do not forget about safety equipment - we perform work in a special outfit;
  5. We cover the entire wall with plasterboard. When walling, we use screws with a length of no more than 25 mm;
  6. We seal the joints of plasterboard joints with putty. After the joints are sealed and dried, you can glue the wallpaper on the wall.
