In the process of repair, which my wife and I started in my apartment, the question arose about installing a TV in the kitchen. And not just about the installation, but about the fastening on the wall. TV bought, Panasonic in 24 inches diagonally - just right, and it cost something about 7 thousand. They chose the place where to fix it, but then the question arose: "The wires are visible, and this is not very beautiful. How to hide them so that they do not throw oneself into the eyes? "Moreover, there are several of them. Plus, you need to put an additional outlet for the TV and set-top boxes( interactive TV).Use "carry" - one more wire.
Nevertheless, I decided with another outlet: from the already available in the kitchen, I used a chisel to cut a groove in the wall for the power cable. Fortunately, there just had to "pass" about 3 meters, counting the curve of the route. I installed a new outlet at a height, connected in parallel with the existing one. I chose a place with the expectation that the TV, when I strengthen it, would close the outlet. Why did I do this? The fact is that, as if the signal wires were not shielded, they are not recommended to be laid with power. Any KIIV knows this, and I know it. Therefore, I decided to separate the power cables and TV cables.
Hide the wires from the TV
It turns out not too many cables, I counted them. Power cables - two, one to the TV, the second to the console. Signal is obtained, too, two. One of the prefixes to the TV is an interactive TV.But I have my own cable from another cable TV operator, personally it's more convenient for me. The fact is that the transmission operators are at different times. At one - on local, at another - the majority of channels on Moscow time. So I look at some programs, then others.
So, with the power cord to the TV the question is solved - it is not visible. The prefix is low, I connected it to another outlet. Remained signal cables. There were many Soviets and recommendations. First his wife suggested cutting another groove in the wall and hiding them there. And then it "dawned on"."I'll come right now!" - she said and rushed off in her car. About forty minutes later, with a satisfied air, she brought a package. Me and the neighbor asked to leave the kitchen and do not go for 20 minutes, then called.
To be honest, when I entered the kitchen, I was convinced personally that all genius was simple.
