Recognition of facade tiles - why is popularity growing?

This need for a combination of decorative and insulation of buildings and structures has recently become particularly topical. In this regard, the largest group is undoubtedly represented by tiled coatings of various types of natural and artificial materials, often called façade tiles or façade tiles.
In its turn, in this group a large share, taking into account the increased demand due to the growth in the construction of cottages, is occupied by concrete facade tiles that successfully imitate natural stone materials and are in demand because of their economic efficiency. Production technologies make it similar, both in color and structure, with a natural rubble stone, etc.

In addition to these, facade tiles, called thermo panels, have become very popular and widely used. They are composite products based on a plastic thermo-insulating material( polyurethane foam or polystyrene foam), with a decorative layer imitating the facade tile. It can be a plastic decorative facade tile for a tree, when the top layer is given the appearance of a polished valuable timber, a log cabin, etc.
Application of tiles for facades
The use of various types of facade tiles is determined by the requirements of the project and the design of the finish. Depending on the material provided, its properties and type of finish, the tiles can be mounted on a special frame, creating a ventilated facade of a rather complex design.
By the way, such technologies, along with facing, additional thermal insulation of the building walls due to the placement of thermal insulation materials in voids, are becoming more popular. For decoration and thermal insulation( blocking the "bridges of cold"), tiles can be glued to various solutions directly on the wall surface, fastened by other methods provided by the project.
In principle, even ordinary ceramic tiles are successfully used for facing works. In this case, it is desirable to choose frosted glazing or even its absence. Such a tile is durable enough and decorative. Used earlier in the construction of similar ceramic materials can be seen and now on the walls of houses and buildings in the cities of the country.
