The advantages of PVC casing are as follows:

• Based on double-sided scotch tape. This option is used extremely rarely, and even in the case if the clypeus is flat and has a very modest weight. This process consists of several steps:

• For the beginning of the measurement of the window frame, this procedure is carried out from the top and the bottom. After this measurement, you need to add a width of the casing. The choice of the option of installing the clypeus depends solely on the preferences of the owners. • Next, cutting out the necessary components of the panels. It should also be borne in mind that here it is necessary to carry out measurements particularly accurately, since even small flaws can affect the final result of the work. As already mentioned, it is better to take a few extra casings, as in the construction process there are a variety of problems that are difficult to foresee. The material is often cheap, so there should not be any problems.
• Now it's time to cut at an angle of 45 degrees. This procedure is performed with each clypeus on both sides. Most often for such manipulations are used special mounting angles, which already have all the necessary markings. It is worth paying attention to the fact that joining between the elements should occur without any problems, so if there is even the slightest hitching, you should check the created angle again.
• After that, the wall is marked out, where the clypees will be installed. Here, too, precision is needed, since holes are then made with a perforator. The diameter of the drill should approximate the diameter of the future fasteners. There will be enough two holes for each clypeus. Immediately after drilling, dowels are jammed into the holes created. They can be nylon or plastic - it does not matter.
• The casing is then applied to the surface, after which they are fixed using self-tapping screws. It should be borne in mind that the fastening elements should tightly press the plastic material, but do not overdo it, as the casings are fragile enough.

Installation of insulation under the platbands

Many are interested in the platbands only for the reason that they can be installed under the insulation. As already mentioned, this is actually a good opportunity to increase comfort in the home. However, it is worth noting in advance that the result of the performed works will be felt only if all the dwelling is already insulated.

For this process, there should be a slot around the window opening. It is worth bearing in mind that this very gap can have different dimensions, and this should be noted. Visually available space should suffice for installation of thermal insulation. If the gap is too small, you should limit yourself to installing the clypees.

As for the direct installation of thermal insulation, in this case, mineral wool is suitable. For installation, it should be folded so that the material looks like a two-layer. After you need to try to fit the material into the slot. It will not be easy to do, but it is possible. The excess part of the thermal insulation can be cut off, but the insulation itself should protrude slightly from the wall. It is worth making sure that there are no gaps between the wall and the insulation. Next, the clypeus is installed, which are tightly placed to the insulation.
