At present, an uninterrupted supply for a gas boiler is an excellent solution for minimizing power problems.
Within the framework of this article the main types of UPS as well as their technical solutions will be considered.
When a light bulb is connected to an electrical network, few people pay attention to light flashes or short-term flashes, as we do not perceive them.
In this regard, the problem of monitoring the proper quality of power supply does not seem to us so acute.
However, it is not for nothing that the UPS for computers, gas boilers, etc., stabilizers and other modern devices that perform processing and transmit information in a few fractions of a second are developed, for example.
Absolutely any, even a slight drop or the loss of voltage in the network for them is the loss of a huge amount of information( for computers) or the occurrence of an error in the gas boiler due to a sudden jump or a complete burnout of the board.
And this in most cases leads to serious malfunctions and very expensive repair work.
Modern sources contain special voltage regulators, which protect against sudden jumps.
To solve the problem of unstable power supply for all, in order to avoid serious failures, it is enough to purchase a certain type of UPS, for example, a gas boiler or UPS for a computer.
About what should be selected for each specific case, will be described below.

Standby UPS
Off-fail-safe in your employee observe one simple scheme. It is made from an automatic switch, all inputs of which are connected to the battery and external power.
The battery is charged directly from the external network, and after the battery is disconnected it switches to battery( Battery), which is spent about four milliseconds.
Interactive Uninterruptible Power Supply
With the exception of offline, there are also UPSs with a technology called line-interactive.
From previous ones, they differ in that they have a transofmator at the input, so they have the opportunity to receive from the scrambling voltage a signal, as well as a stable amplitude with a wide range of values relative to the input voltage, i.e.in other words - it has a built-in voltage regulator.
This device suppresses all external voltage peaks and solves an important problem that can not be handled by the backup offline power supply.
But, in turn, these types of sources, just as well as the backup ones, require four milliseconds to switch, in which case the whole drawback lies, and therefore it can only come up to protect non-critical equipment.
Uninterruptible power supplies of interactive type are able to protect devices of transplants, drops, peaks or short-term voltage failure.
In this type of construction, the jumps of the phase, frequency and magnitude of the voltage are also generated during switching operations.
Online UPS Type
Uninterruptible power supplies of the online type have a simple type of operation that is fundamentally different from the above diagrams.
This type uses the so-called double conversion scheme. At the very beginning, the input AC voltage is rectified.
The voltage is then used to power the battery and is continuously supplied to the inverter, which converts to alternating direct current.
Video:
It then actually goes to the output of the uninterruptible device, where there is an ideal sinusoid and frequency.
The presence of a battery that is permanently connected to the network provides instantaneous compensation by electric current, due to which the inverter receives only a current having a stable amplitude.
In connection with all of the above, the online UPS type has a huge advantage, namely zero time, which is necessary to switch from different modes, i.e.the switching time is zero milliseconds.
Online UPS is the best option for equipment that is vitally stable and constant voltage, ideal frequency and sinusoid, as well as zero switching time.
It is in connection with this fact that they can be used to protect devices such as medical equipment, file servers, gas boilers and telecommunications equipment.
The only drawback of the online scheme is its comparative complexity, as well as a higher price.
Now you know what types of fail-over types exist, and you can easily choose the type that suits you best for the price and availability of a certain function.
It should also be noted that in order to maximally choose the right UPS, you need to learn more about the card of the product you want to purchase.
