Art parquet as the basis for the design of the room

The creation of parquet from the drawing begins, in which a special production line produces complex( and not so) details. By the same drawings, the assembly of parquet mosaic is then carried out. Wood for the most part uses valuable, corresponding to the complexity of the pattern and determining the cost of parquet. The species of the tree are deciduous, from domestic ones - mostly stained oak, walnut, yew, juniper, cypress, apple, pear, alder, as well as more southern breeds - chinara and boxwood.

As for patterns, the art parquet can be of two types: with geometric and picturesque ornamentation. Differences between them are significant, the first, as one can understand by name, consists of geometric figures, and the second includes complex patterns, often from vegetative ornamentation, but it can be simply beautifully interwoven curvilinear lines.

There are also 2 types of assembly. A simpler version is a marquetry, when the drawing is assembled from separate slats, each of which is a fragment of the picture. There is also the assembly of parquet with inlay, when the background is made from one wood, and the pattern is cut by inserts of complex shape from other rocks to the full depth of the floor covering.

The set parquet is the most accessible variant of the artistic

. In childhood, many people got a puzzle in their hands: an odd number of squares with a fragment of the picture, enclosed in a frame and freely moving relative to each other and alternately occupying an empty cell, directed by a child's hand. A set parquet - something between this game and a puzzle, it is a separate plank, connected among themselves in various ways.

The most complicated( but also reliable) type of connection is paso-crest or "on a solid rail" , on each board one long and one short side has a groove, the other two sides with ridges. Also, the parquet is assembled "on a soft railing", this method provides for the presence of small grooves on all sides of the parquet where the spike rods from pine or oak are inserted, the boards are nailed to the base with nails.

The easiest are the slats with an oblique edge or an oblique seam on all four faces that are attached to the base with bitumen mastic or asphalt mass. The latter type is the most durable of the four listed. Plates that are attached to the rail are always assembled on a wooden base, the other two options are on concrete. In this case, the concrete base must be carefully smoothed out with cement mortar.

To level the wooden base, it is often stacked particle boards or sheets in two layers, first put a soft stove, and on top - firm. Mastic is also applied evenly uniform layer thickness of 1 millimeter, and already on it neatly laid planks of parquet, in a string stretched along the room.

Wood-fiber boards, like parquet, are best adhered to pre-primed substrates.

Want to live in a palace - parquet mosaic will create the right atmosphere

Among other types of parquet mosaic takes, perhaps, the first place in the simplicity of the assembly of the picture. Prefabricated pieces of the square pattern, some kind of rugs, pasted on the elastic material, most often on the adhesive paper face, after laying the paper is removed. Sometimes there are typing sets, fragments in which are glued to the elastic base by the bottom part, in this case the connecting material( bitumen fiberboard or thin mat of rubber chips) remains under the parquet. The floor is covered with mosaic parquet very quickly, it is enough to lay the mats correctly, so that the desired pattern is obtained at the junction point of every four modules.

The length of the parquet strips is always a multiple of their width , this is done in order to easily fold the elementary squares, which are located on the base in staggered order, with a perpendicular alternation. A carpet of elementary squares usually has an identical shape, although sometimes a rectangular shape is allowed.

In some cases, more complex solutions are possible, but only to order. The carpets are joined together by means of special strips, under which the grooves are cut in the faces of the extreme elementary squares. For information, a high-class parquet mosaic is always made from oak and various exotic tropical tree species. The lower first category of quality is made from ash, beech, elm, chestnut, white acacia, birch, larch, pine and karagach.
