Preparation of parts

Having prepared all the details, it is recommended to sign them, indicating the size of each of them. Then, it is necessary to work a bit with the mill and round it with the corners of parts No. 1, 2, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 20.

Assembly work

	The first step, in the vertical supports of the backrest( detail number 1), according to the drawing, it is necessary to drill the holes into which the metal bar will be installed later( detail No. 24). To ensure that the hole is neat, an electric drill is fitted with a 16 mm diameter drill bit.
	Further, in the No. 1 part, holes are drilled in the attachment points of the rear of the seat and the backrest. First you need to drill a hole with a 12 mm drill to a depth of 10 mm - this part of the groove will be required to install the plugs. After that, through holes 5 mm in diameter are already drilled, intended for self-tapping screws.
	The next step is using the self-cuts of 100 mm in length, the back of the sofa is assembled - these are parts No. 1, 2, 3 and 24. A bar( item No. 21) is fixed between the vertical racks, at a height of 45 mm from the floor - this will be a supportfor the bottom of the sofa. A metal bar is installed in the holes in the upper back( detail No. 24). In the middle of the backrest, from the outside, the part No. 4 is fixed at a height of 325 mm from the floor.
	Then the bars for bottom part No. 21 and 22 are fixed( longitudinal and transverse parts of the bottom). The seat frame is turned over and the plywood bottom( part No. 8) is fastened to it with the help of self-cutters 50 mm long. The seat is fixed to parts No. 21 and 22 with self-tapping screws of length35 mm. Then, in the middle of the bottom, on the top of the plywood bottom( No. 8), the plywood element No. 9 is fastened to the front and rear parts( No. 21), which divides the interior space of the lower part of the sofa and adds stiffness to the structure of the seat. The plywood wall is screwed with self-tapping screws 50 mm long.
	After this, the design returns to its original position, and plywood strips( No. 17), size 365 × 60 mm, are glued to the inner part of the front facade wall( No. 5) with "liquid nails". They are needed in order to fasten the workpiece No. 10 securely to them with screws 5 mm in order to fasten the guides for the sliding cabinet.
	The next step is a pull-out drawer consisting of parts No. 11 and 12. They are twisted by 35 mm self-tapping screws. After that, along the bottom of the box of the sofa and drawer, the guide rails of the roller mechanism are fixed. Further, to the front side of the box, in the upper part, between the front and rear panels, a bar( part No. 7) is fixed, which will give rigidity to the structure. It is fixed by self-tapping screws 35 mm long.
	After that, 25 mm of its facade part is attached to the side of the box( part No. 16). The seat and the back of the sofa are then connected with long self-tapping screws of 50 and 100 mm.
	After that, the bottom of the shallow box( part No. 13) is mounted on the place and fixed with screws. Then take the bar to fix the loops( part number 14), on it from both sides angled fragments are cut out and cut under the vertical bars of the back of the sofa. The bar is fixed with screws, screwing them from below, through the bar on the back of the backrest( part number 4).
	After that, the loops are marked and screwed, first to the hinged cover panel( part No. 15), and then to the installed and fixed bar( part No. 14).
	The next stage is the most important, as it will be necessary to completely disassemble the sofa, process to the ideal smoothness of the edge of all the details, seal all the irregularities on their surfaces with putty, and then sand them with sandpaper. After that, in the places where decorative facade planks will be pasted( parts Nos. 18, 19, 20, 23), the painting tape is pasted so that the paint does not get on them. Next, all the elements of the sofa in two layers are covered with paint and left to dry. After the paint has dried, the adhesive tape is removed and the sofa is fully assembled. Then, on the "liquid nails" are glued horizontal decorative strips and until completely dried pressed clamps to the main planes. Corner parts, it is recommended, first glued together, and after the adhesive has dried, mount it on the corners of the box. Then, the horizontal slats are glued.
	The last steps in the assembly of the sofa is the installation of the hinged cover panel and fastening to it and the internal partition of the lifting mechanism. Next, the handle is placed on the drawer, the plugs on the holes with screws and furniture supports on the bottom of the sofa. This completes the sofa and you can proceed to the manufacture of pillows on the back and seat.

	First of all, a pillow filler is prepared. A piece of 450 × 1200 mm for the seat and two pieces of this material measuring 400 × 540 mm for the back of the sofa are cut from the foam sheet using a knife. Foam turns into a thick sintepon, so that its side parts are also closed. The surplus of the sintepon is cut off with scissors, and its edges are sewn with large stitches. The work needs to be done carefully, so that the foam rubber keeps its shape. After that the prepared filler of the big pillow needs to be sewn with white cotton. To do this, the cushion markings are made on the fabric, then the cut is folded in half and stitched on the sides, according to the type of bag. The wide side of the bag remains open. Next, to determine the location for the firmware of corners, the bag is placed on the inside by the back of the carpet, and the corners are drawn from the hands, which are then staked out. The bag is turned out, reinserted on the cushion, so that the corners fall into place, and the open side is sewn by hand with a hidden seam.
	The next step of the colored fabric is the removal of the details of the upper, removable cover for the big seat cushion - it should be two rectangles measuring 450 × 1200 mm plus 20 mm for allowances in each of the panels. Then, three strips are prepared, 110 mm wide, for edging, 14 strips of 500 mm oblique bye, having a width of 30 mm. If a striped fabric is taken, then the bake is cut at an angle of 45 ° to the vertical and horizontal threads. Next, the stripes are folded on two faces inward and stitched together. There should be two bands of 3500 mm in length.
	Then, it is necessary, putting a cotton cord in a folded in half along the oblique bake, making a line along its edge. For this purpose, a special foot is installed on the sewing machine for sewing lightning, and the needle is shifted to the left end position, since it is necessary to ensure that the line passes close to the inside cord.
	Next, the crochet with the inner cord must be attached to the rectangle along the entire perimeter of the upper part of the large seat cushion cover, and also with the border strips 110 mm wide, and then sew them together as close as possible to the cord inside. 	When all these elements are stitched together at the corners, cuts are made in them so that the fabric does not wrinkle and there are no ugly creases on it.
	Then, along the long side of the non-sewn rectangle of the lower part of the big pillow, pins with pins, and then the rigid part of the Velcro tape, 1000 mm long, with an indent from the edge of the part 30 mm, is attached. The reciprocal, soft part of the tape is glued to the edge of the wooden sofa seat panel.
	After that, to the bottom rectangle, in the same way as to the upper side of the case, the second part of the oblique beika with the cord inside is sewn, also with the cutting of the fabric on the corners.

	Pillows for the back of the sofa are also cut out of foam rubber, their size should be 400 × 540 mm. Then, they are also wrapped, but, in this case, by a thin sintepon, sewing it around the edge by hand. Next, the pillows are covered with a non-removable cover made of white chintz.
	After that you can proceed to tailoring a removable cover from a color coarse calico. For backrest two pillows made of foam rubber will be embedded in one case, divided into two sections using a mid seam. The pillowcase for upper cushions consists of two rectangular pieces measuring 450 × 1180 mm. Uncrossing them, 4 colored strips with a size of 100 × 250 mm are cut from the colored fabric - these strips sewn to the pillowcases, the cushions will be fixed on the metal bar. The strips are folded in half, the front side inward, and is spread out from two sides, with an indentation from the edge of 15 mm, then they are turned out and again are spread out, but already on the front side.
	Then, to the narrow, stitched side, a piece of the soft part of the tape is sewn - "Velcro".
	The next step to the wide side of the rectangles is to sew a lock with a length of 1150 mm. It must first be swept or pinned with pins, and then stitched on the typewriter. Then, folding the pillowcase in half, you need to find the middle of the long side. Determines the location of strips on which the pillow will be hung on the bar. The strips fit inside, on the underside there are parts that are aligned with the edge of the rectangle and fixed with pins. The strips should be fastened around the edges of the pillowcase and in the middle, with an equal distance on both sides of the center.
	Next, the pillowcase is drained from three sides, and the strips are sewn into the inside of the seam. The pillowcase is reversed through the side where the lock is sewn. Then, again, you need to find the middle of the long side and split the pillowcase in half, pins with pins. Next, a line is made along this line, which should not reach the lock by 20 ÷ 25 mm. The next step in cutting off the second rigid Velcro tape is to pin and then sew to the back of the pillowcase so that you can fasten the strips with the soft Velcro back.
	The last step in the stitched and divided in two pillowcases is to add foam pillows-fillers. Then the pillowcase is fastened to the lock and hung on the bar with the help of sewn strips. The seat is laid and fixed on the "Velcro" large pillow - and the sofa is ready.

• Synthepone 15 mm thick, 1000 mm wide.

The tools must be prepared: a stationery knife, scissors, needle and thread, as well as a reliable sewing machine.
