For all its advantages, this type of fencing remains the only drawback - the high price. Therefore, experts recommend combining the brick with less expensive materials. The best example of such a union can be called a fence made of corrugated board with brick poles. A detailed instruction with a photo and video about the installation of such a fencing with their own hands is presented in this article.

Where to start

The construction of the fence with corrugated boards with brick poles with your own hands should begin with the drafting. At this stage it is important to take into account the location of gates and entrance gates, as well as technological recommendations:

  • The spacing between the spans should be 2.5-3 m;
  • The fence should be placed strictly along the perimeter of the site;
  • Control the level of slope of the ground, if necessary, break the fence into segments according to height differences.

Construction stages

I. Marking of the territory for the future fence.

Before starting, it is important to check the site plan, and then break the pegs along its perimeter. Between the marks the cord is stretched out, the perpendicularity is verified( by the diagonal method), and then, with the help of the level, there is an absolute "0" of the constructed structure.

II.Manufacturing of metal-concrete structures.

According to the outstretched and exposed to the level of the laces, depressions are formed in the ground. The recommended depth of concrete pits under the poles should exceed 1 m, which in the cold season should prevent the deformation of the enclosing structure( usually deepen to a depth of freezing of the soil of 1.5 m).

If you want to strengthen the fence or add some constructive originality, you can place a strip foundation between the pillars( to a depth of 50 cm).In this case, you should take care of the strong formwork. For its walls, you can use both wood and OSB thickness of more than 100mm. For formwork fastenings, use a cross bar, which is dug into the ground from one end, and from the other end is pinned to the shield itself.

The next step is to take care of the strapping and mounting in the formwork of the reinforcing frame. For the manufacture of this frame is best suited fittings of fiberglass( diameter 10mm) and knitting wire. We form the skeleton of the parallelepiped according to the dimensions of the depression.

Next, metal stiffeners are installed at the base of the future pillars. After that, fixes are fixed between them, creating a fence frame. We finish the work by directly pouring cement mortar( brand no lower than M200) into existing grooves.

III.Brick masonry for fence posts.

Any moisture-resistant brick can be used for carrying out these works, but ideally you should choose beautiful decorative patterns. It is recommended to tie each brick layer with a metal mesh, applying a uniform layer of mortar over it. Be sure to use the level! At the top of the support column, you should install either a cement or metal hood.

IV.Fastening sheet metal to the fence frame.

On the projecting between the support pillars of the fastening( logs from the profile pipe 40x20 mm), sheets of corrugated board are installed with the help of galvanized screws 5x30 mm or steel rivets 3,2х10 mm.

Upon completion, all metal parts and welding locations should be primed to prevent corrosion.
