How to seal a small hole
With a small hole size, for example, holes from nails or small cracks are closed as follows: using a putty knife, the emptiness is filled with putty, then the excess weight is removed by it. When the finishing mixture dries, and this happens after about a couple of hours, the ground surface is sanded with a sandpaper and cleaned of dust, after which the surface is painted or wallpapered.
Masking of significant holes
For larger size holes on the wall surface, first of all, it should be cleared from the strewing plaster with a knife, after which the edges of the hole are leveled. The void should be filled with a crumpled newspaper, on top of which a layer of gypsum putty is applied. Cavities of a smaller size are covered with facial plaster, and then cover the joint of the closed hole with the wall. Surface is allowed to dry for about 12 hours.
The next stage is the treatment of the repaired surface with sandpaper in order to level the plane on which the work is done and get rid of unevenness. After that, the wall is painted.
Puttying holes
In order to eliminate a hole of considerable size, you must first repeat the above described work order. After that, you need to get an adhesive plaster, pasting it onto a closed hole, it can be completely covered. When the adhesive tape is glued, the wrinkles of the material are leveled with a knife.
A small layer of plaster is applied over the adhesive plaster, and care must be taken to ensure that it is completely closed. To increase the strength of the hole, the adhesive plaster can be glued in two layers, but remember that the second layer of the adhesive is glued only over the putty, transversely to the previous layer. The second layer is also plastered from above, after which the surface is left to dry completely.
After the place of repair has dried, it is sanded with sandpaper. In this case, you should monitor the force of the pressure on the tool - it is important to observe the integrity of the putty layer. After that, the site is cleaned of dust and painted or wallpapered.
If suddenly there was a hole on the surface of the wall during the repair - it does not matter! Everyone can solve this problem with his own hands, it's only worthwhile to put a little effort into it.
