Installation must begin with preparation for operation. The first thing you need to prepare everything you need to work. Tools will need the following:
- drill or screwdriver;
- hammer;
- rubber hammer;
- tape measure and level;
- brush with soft bristles;
- long rake;
- marker.
You will also need a tool for cutting material sheets. Metal can be cut with hand scissors for metal, circular saw, electric jigsaw or electric scissors.
Important! It is not recommended to cut the sheets with a Bulgarian, as the polymer coating and zinc burn out from the heat. Because of this, even if the stowage is performed qualitatively, the process of corrosion will begin.
The technology of laying the metal should be carried out in accordance with the rule that requires sweeping away all sawdust with a soft brush from the roof. If this condition is not met, damage to the protective layer can occur, which also contributes to corrosion, loss of appearance and shortened service life. In addition, work should be in shoes with a soft sole so that damage to the protective and decorative coating does not occur.

The instruction for the laying of the metal tile necessarily contains a clause that states that the material must overlap with an overlap of 200 millimeters. The dimensions of the sheets can be any, depending on the wishes of the customer. Too large it is recommended to cut it into two parts.
The material is assembled so that the edges of the sheets protrude 40 millimeters beyond the cornice edge. This scheme of laying the metal roof provides the necessary space for ventilation. Before creating the hipped roof, it is recommended to first draw a drawing on paper with the calculation of each section. For a rectangular slope, the calculation is made by dividing the length of the cornice by the width of one sheet of material. When laying the roof on rectangular slopes, you must first mount the rafter system.
Important! If the ramp along the diagonal is uneven, then you need to align it with the prefixes to the front boards.
Laying of metal tiles with their own hands
The order of laying a metal tile provides a waterproofing device in order to protect the heater from atmospheric moisture. The waterproofing material must be rolled out and cut directly on the rafters. The direction of the coating depends on the slope of the roof. If it is 1: 5 or more, the laying is carried out parallel to the ridge, with smaller inclines - towards the slope. The overlap of the waterproofing material must be a minimum of 100 millimeters. The tile is laid on the crate. It is made of bars measuring 50 × 50 millimeters, with a step of a crate, corresponding to the width of the sheets.
Now consider how to lay the metal tile? The first sheet is placed flush with the end of the roof and fastened with a screwdriver at the ridge, the material is taken out beyond the cornice for 40 millimeters. The second is overlapped with the first in the case of mounting from right to left or under it, if stacking occurs from left to right.
