Installation guide for acrylic shower trays

Acrylic pallets are actually realized already in working form, which allows them to be quickly and seamlessly installed in the shower. Installation of shower trays in ceramics

Ceramic pallets are characterized by durability and practicality. They are also easy to clean, but not resistant to strong impacts. Unlike an acrylic product, they do not form a void when installed on the floor, however, this causes the fact that it is difficult to reach the drain, so the tray is placed close to it.

Step 1: Preparation of sewerage communications

To begin with, mark the floor in the place where the sink will be located. Then a jigsaw or perforator creates an opening for the location of the siphon. After cutting a second opening in the floor near the first for quick access to the connections and their free laying. On the edges of the apertures fix the slats, and from the scraps prepare an observation panel. Where it is planned to place a pallet, smear PVA-composition with water in two layers.

Step 2: Installing the siphon to the sewer and installing the

tray. The siphon is installed after the PVA has dried. The adhesive should be placed in a tray so that it becomes strictly horizontal. Once the solution has dried, connect the communications through the previously left hole( panel).

Step 3: Adjusting the joints and sealing

To ensure that the gaps between the wall, the floor and the floor do not form mold in the future, and other troubles, cover the joints with silicone tape. Moreover, ceramic pallets only create the appearance of strength, but in fact they are extremely fragile and require caution in use.

General recommendations in the installation of shower

1. When installing a container without legs, the floor is poured with cement, and the flanks, if necessary, are best tiled.
2. The distance between the wall and the pallet must be sealed, otherwise water will accumulate there. Isolate all joints without exception.
3. Strictly follow the instructions for the purchased pallet.
4. It is imperative that the bottom of the tank is above the sewer connections.
