Foamed polyethylene
It is more common on water supply networks, but it is also used for warming of heating systems in premises. Available in the form of hollow cylinders, cut from one side. To fix on the pipe section, simply put on the insulation and wrap it with adhesive tape.
Penoizol
As for its application to the surface of the pipe a special atomizer is needed, penoizol is more often used to isolate industrial heating mains. The advantages of such a material is the tightness of the insulation formed, resistance to low temperatures, practically does not allow heat to pass through and does not need fixing, but it also has a high price.
Penofol
Composed of foil, covered with a layer of expanded polyethylene foam. In addition to its high heat-retaining capacity, it also has a reflective property, which greatly extends the range of application of this material.
