Mounting pistols can have classic pistol shapes or look like a small jackhammer. Their main purpose is to drive dowel nails into solid construction and construction materials, such as concrete and brick surfaces, various low-carbon steels for joining( by targeting) parts and structural elements.
Pistol PP-84 powder gun is designed as a jackhammer, while using it special mounting cartridges( D and K, called industrial) and dowel nails of the correct size. The shape of the case helps to reduce the recoil when shot. The single-charge model is characterized by exceptional reliability and safety of operation. It can be recommended for use when fast fixing of equipment or structures is required.
The assembly gun PC-08 has a slightly smaller( six hundred gram) weight with the same parameters. Outwardly it has classic pistol forms, is equipped with an emphasis and a protective screen. Like the PC-84, develops a shot energy to eight hundred Joules. It uses the same industrial cartridges and dowel nails.

The wide application that the mounting pistols have found is explained by the convenience of their use. The high energy of the shot allows fast and high-quality fastening without preliminary drilling, welding, etc. At the same time, the strength of the obtained joint provides structural reliability and the possibility of carrying out further stages of work.
Depending on the design, the operation principle of the mounting gun can be based on the use of energy of propellant gases or propane-butane. In the latter case, the assembly pistols are gas. The principle of the gas pistols is the dosed supply of the gas mixture to the combustion chamber, where the gas ignites from the spark of the battery current source. The released energy is used to drive nails or staples. Such a tool does not require special handling skills.
This model is used for the installation of elements of plank floor, parquet, skirting, door and window frames, roofing works. The principle of using the energy of powder gases, like the PC-84 construction gun, allows you to obtain higher performance, reliability and mobility( a box of dowels, zinc cartridges, and at least in the taiga beyond the Urals).

For example, the mounting gun PMT-1 , which is characterized by the clamping of dowel nails, makes it possible to perform permanent fixings on concrete, brick or metal up to four millimeters thick, and up to twelve on low-carbon steels. The length of the dowel pinched reaches eighty millimeters.
Very similar in its capabilities to the mounting gun PMT-3 .It is distinguished by the possibility of loading nails without using a ramrod. Here the modified design of the protective tip is applied. In the model, a fuse is installed, which excludes accidental depression of the trigger and a shot with the cartridge not sent to the chamber. A feature of both models is the possibility of making removable attachments on threaded screw plugs.
Like the PC-84, mounting gun PPM-307 has a manual loading of the cartridge and a manual feed of the dowels. Being a source of increased danger, the tool is equipped with a protective stop.
Assembling gun The PPM-603 has its own operational features. It allows you to adjust the power of the impact when driving a nail. This is done not only by selecting the type of cartridges, but also by means of the built-in regulator.
