Hello! I have not come across and do not know what type of indicator there is. If under the glass (or whatever it is) there is an ordinary seven-segment LED indicator, then it changes to the same or with a similar pinout. Maybe one segment burned out, a resistor that limits the current in it, or just a crack in the solder.

And it could burn out from anything - from temperature, voltage surge, defective current-limiting resistor, etc.
